I asked what I needed to do to get copies of my own files, was told I needed to come down to sign a affidavit, and then it would go to the judge for approval. It took about a week and it was approved, yay! Went to the court house got what I needed out of my file and was ready for the copies, all of the sudden a really rude lady walks up after gossiping with a gentleman about custody in the lobby “Lori the supervisor,” interrupts the process and says I can’t have copies of my own files where I was the plaintiff because it was “filed incorrectly” even with the judges approval -after seeing my affidavit, so “they needed to resubmitted” the “correct way.” I called today and got “helpful Lori” and was told she can’t talk to me without a Debra, was on hold for about 5 mins, only Lori answers and told me the judge withdrew the approval and I need file for a court hearing to unseal my records. To give you background, I have full custody of my son, and I am now married and want our whole family to have the same last name as my 9 year old son got so upset that his baseball jersey didn’t have my husbands last name on the back, but my maiden. He calls him dad, just need the copies from my file to take to an attorney so we can start this process. Way to go Lori, dividing family’s at Family Court.

I just had my first encounter with this place and it’s sad to say I had a better experience at Moss county justice court systems.. Beautiful building, glad to see Can afford this this, hopefully schools next!?!? they had me go straight to Clerk of courts office for a child support hearing , when I am if not above definitely up-to-date on my child support and in there because of a mad and lazy ex-wife.. The guards, I mean sheriffs , at the front door, two of them were very polite especially the young lady the other two turn their bodies to blatantly stare me down as if I am some sort of common criminal and I am in a tie and suit, not too shabby of a fello.. he being an older skinny clearly mranking officer, showing his “ power” knowing they re about to tell me to walk right back out because it has been postponed when two days ago I was told I had to be there,? Communication with these courts is ridiculous and the power trip of the people who greet you in an already possible hostile environment, don’t make things easier

These people won’t help me with anything and let my kids go with a man that was abiding me in front of them and. caused me to fall on top if them during fight infants remind you I wanted to go to my safe home back up north and I’m stuck here chasing my abuser who ran my kids to Columbia I have no clue where they are and we have an open case of domestic violence this man is ruining my life using my kids and the court won’t do nor even give me an address update

When you call to ask a question about your child support money. These people have the nastiest attitudes ever!!! They act as if your bothering them. Not realizing that its because of people like me who go through the state for child support collections is the reason they have a JOB. Be more professional...

I completed my child support package since last year 2020 and nothing has ever happened, I have no maintenance for my 4 daughters, very bad service

These courtrooms are full of old white men. "Good ol' boys." Rich old white men who find in favor of other rich old white men. A welcome to Southern Hell for the poor and minorities.

I'm going to have to drive all the way to rockhill because the child support lady can't return my call but can tell all my personal info to the grandmother on the fathers side and even try to do things without my comment I wish i wasn't struggling because I would file a lawsuit on these people.

Horrible customer service when you call! The other review was right on. They act as if they are bothered by your call and are rushed to get you off without resolving your issue. I had dealing with them really.

The workers at the front are very rude at this location. They’re never warm, and it’s apparent they don’t enjoy their job. Maybe it’s time for some new faces SC.

I agree with these reviews. Why can't you get people that actually want to work??? Why do you even have people there to answer the phones because they can't tell you ANYTHING!!! This office is a JOKE!!!!
