The best location right outside of the Yosemite Valley Park. Our balcony was overlooking a long river and you can even swim in it. Beautiful and picturesque. It has a wonderful restaurant, a pizza place, a convenient store for getting beer and some frozen food to eat inside your room which also has microwave and stove. We enjoyed our food watching the river on the balcony. Great for the family. We will definitely come back again.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are so friendly and really go above & beyond to be helpful & accommodating. We originally booked 1 night in the 2 bedroom river view suite, but we ended up needing to come a day early. The suite wasn’t available both nights but they were able to get us into 2 rooms in the same building side by side on the ground level, which we needed for accessibility. The pizza place & river view restaurant on site were both good. The pizza place was closed on Sunday night maybe only open weekends BUT you could order pizza from the other restaurant to take away. There are many pools & hot tubs, both inside & out. The indoor pool is heated & has a lift chair. The gift shop & store are very convenient. There are also game rooms. The kitchen has pots & pans, silverware & dishes. No s&p or cutting boards. We had one room that had soap & a sponge but the others didn’t, so looks like someone just left that one. If you don’t want to use the provided coffee bring your own filters. The rooms were super comfortable and the 2 bedroom suite was awesome. The river view is definitely worth it! It’s also SO close to the park which is awesome.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in early November. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The balcony was also large. The location is near the Yosemite National Park entrance. There’s a nice store attached to the lobby that has a variety of grocery, travel, and gift items. I accidentally left my purse in the room and didn’t realize it until we were on the way to the airport and too far to turn around. I called and the woman who helped me was kind and helpful. They mailed my purse to my house!! I am so thankful!
A truly amazing lodge, about half an hour from Yosemite Valley Visitor Center where you want to be for the shuttle for all the hikes. Rooms were amazing, there are multiple pools and Jacuzzis, and an awesome game room in one of the buildings air hockey, pool, jenga, 2 video game booths - all free. The restaurant and bar are fantastic with excellent service. At the bar, our bartender was Lalo who took AMAZING care of my mom and I every night we visited. Our room was clean, and comfortable. The check-in office has a full shop with anything you might need if you forgot anything - and they don't overcharge. There is a creek in the back that you can hike, and there are seat-swings where you can sit and watch the creek and relax. I really can't say enough good things about this lodge. It is the perfect location, with great food and lodging. If you don't want to pay the exorbitant prices to stay in Yosemite Valley, this is the place for you I can't wait to come back
We stayed here for two days. I think this place would be incredible anytime other than the summer. It was very hot and the air conditioner couldn’t keep up. Very hot in our room and they tired to help but not insulated well. Great location, comfortable bed, pizza was good. Store on location was large and it had most everything. My only complete was the A/C. It was 100 degrees though. The sign for the park is 1 minute from the hotel.
A long and winding road leads to this hotel just outside the park. We opted for a riverside room with a king size bed. It did not disappoint. The shower was large with two shower heads. There was a jacuzzi tub in the room, right near the gas fire place. The bed was super comfy. There was even a kitchenette with dishes, silverware, and pots/pans. The air conditioner didn't have a fan always on option, so we cracked the sliding glass door and slept to the sound of the river. Prices at their on site store were very reasonable, what you might find at a grocery store. Worth every penny to stay there!
Location was fantastic for quick access to the center of Yosemite. The main room was fairly nice with comfortable bed, kitchenette, and fireplace. You do have to pay extra for wifi which is unusual this day in age. The bathroom had mold along the grout lines and a towel rack adjacent to a toilet that liked to spray used my own towel. Staff were friendly but the restaurant had very slow service.
We stayed during off-season, reasonable rates, spacious rooms and bathroom, everything you need is on-site, restaurants, a small store, and if you bring groceries, there is a fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. It was very close to the Yosemite entrance, which was convenient. The indoor pool was very nice, except for one night when it was completely overrun with kids. Maybe keep the pool open til midnight so adults can have a chance to swim?
very polite and friendly staff. this is the only positive factor. For wifi they ask you to pay 10$ x day!! The structure is old, the curtains allow light to enter and it is not possible to sleep, in the shower there is no place to put the soap, and the internal shop has exaggerated prices and the price is not present on any product. highly discouraged Wi-fi: It s not free
Beautiful property located very close to the entrance to Yosemite national park. We had a jacuzzi room in the maple section and it was wonderful. Clean and spacious. There was a bear the would walk around the parking lot looking for food so be sure to remove any food items from your vehicle. This lodge would have gotten 5 stars but the restaurant on location wasn’t very impressive. The service was friendly and the food was decent however, we kept getting things we didn’t order.
