I have no idea how this place is still in business, but they are still selling quality parts for cheap like 1980s RadioShack. They also sell useful starter/intro kits for both kids and adults. Thank you to the helpful staff for finding parts for my DIY project.
Great electronics hardware supply store! It's suitable for hobbyists and professional electronic hardware engineers. I found my required tubes too!
I love it. the employees were both highly effective and enjoyable people. i got in and got out with great components that you simply cannot get elsewhere for close to this price. if you have questions you can ask. it also has some pieces for soldering people.
Very good selection for an independent local retailer of many years.
Good advice, quality parts and reasonable prices. I went in for a raspberry pi and they had several models, kits and parts. Last time I went in for screwdrivers and I almost left half a paycheck on wiha gear. Anyways, good stuff.
Drove here from Canada to check it out. Was not disappointed. Just sad this doesn't exist closer to home
As someone who was a ham radio operator from an early age, this place was a Mecca for the kind of things that I'd just read about in catalogs and in magazines. As I got more into high-end audio, I realized, yes, they were hardly the go-to place for top brands, but if you just wanted a certain kind of connector, or an audio amp to get you through the next gig somewhere, or a cable to make quite literally whatever work with whatever else, they probably had that on one floor to the next. I live in North Carolina now - and thus only make yearly pilgrimages - but I firmly believe the country would be a better place with the equivalent of You-Do-Its in every state. Or at least every other state. Let's make it happen.
Awesome place like an oasis Don't need to waste time for shipping. Various choices and professional staff
My absolute favorite electronics super store . Everything any hobbyist or electronics obsessed person could wish for.
I've always driven past this place and wondered what was inside. Finally took a trip and was pleasantly surprised. I do a lot of electronics projects and I always need random parts like resistors, switches, connectors, etc. Radio shack used to be my go to for this but they're pretty much dead. You-do-it-electronics has all the general components I'd want and is definitely my new go to for when I just need to browse around looking at parts to get an idea for what might work best in a project.
