Mixed-Media Arts Workshop for Kids 8-13!!!
Introducing Young Artists Workshop at The Woods! Created and taught by local musicians/artists/educators Rachel Blumberg, Seth Mankoski and Matthew Berger, Y.A.W. is a mixed-media arts workshop for 8-13 year olds. Each workshop’s unique curriculum will focus on incorporating art, music, film, performance and more.
Y.A.W. is looking forward to working with the Portland community in a space as incredible as The Woods. There are lots of fun workshops and special guest artists in store for the coming months!

WORKSHOP #2- FOLEY ARTIST THEATER

Collaboratively create characters using a variety of mediums, explore the world of foley artistry (the art of creating incidental sounds such as footsteps) and then use both to create and perform an improvised theater piece!
