First wanted half gallon 2 percent milk it was outdated 2 days so had to buy a gallon of it for my mother who lives alone, then stood at counter ringing bell three times was there forever then guy took his alcohol to other register for alcohol she waited on him and then walked away and I said excuse me but I was here way before him but it’s okay I just need rung out and I smiled trying to be nice and she said maybe you should have rang the bell and I said I did three times and guy with alcohol that was leaving said ring it again because he saw how rude she was and I was trying to stay nice because I work in public and believe in giving 100 percent customer service because we wouldn’t have jobs if people don’t shop and she didn’t apologize and acted like I was lying about ringing the bell! We shop there a lot so I was very offended usually everyone is nice. This was around 8:30 I got there in the evening.
The subs are made and cut on the same counter as RAW MEAT, watched two of the females who work there do it. No wipe down, no gloves. Went back into the beer fridge. Apparently they store the food in THE SAME fridge. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING raw food is kept where the PUBLIC walk. MOLDY cheese in the chest, ants in the soda fountain. Newly renovated and ABSOLUTELY filthy under the surface. SLUM LORDS out you ask me. Outrageous price gouging and a manager who sells soboxone ON PROPERTY. Don’t believe me, daughter in law works there, complained multiple times, ownership does nothing because he pays them all under the table to avoid the taxes. WHERES THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT? Oh that’s right he pays them off too!!!
The store was recently renovated. Its much bigger and now there's beer! Its easily my o e stop shop. Chester's Chicken is so yummy! Great service.
