Have been here for several times for cleaning and filling. Everyone here is nice and welcoming, the office is clean. Also, Dr. Ngoc is kind and gentle. I had tried other places but she is one of the best dentists in DMV area. She explains my concern well and thoughtful. Must come back !
I’ve been to this dental clinic twice, and each time I felt satisfied. Dr Vanessa and her staff are friendly and professional. They did a good job at cleaning my teeth. The clinic is also clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place.
I love Your Family Dentist! Dr. Nguyen is the best. My whole family have had the good fortune of having Dr.Nguyen as our family dentist. I and my husband have done teeth filling, cleaning, and whitening treatments and we have never been disappointed . I also had my broken teeth fixed and straightened by Dr. Nguyen. I’m super happy with the result. My son who is seven year old also has a great experience at Your Family Dentist. At first, he was so scared for his teeth filing treatment because of cavities, but Dr.Nguyen was so confident, skillful, gentle, and kind that my son was so comfortable during the whole treatment. Another thing I love about the place is that it is very clean and friendly. So I and my family are highly recommended the office for everyone.

I have been looking around for a dentist that I can trust in the area, and I think I found it. For what it's worth, reviewing an experience at a medical/dental clinic isn't really the same as a regular business like a restaurant. You have the potential to pay thousands of dollars to improve your quality of life and only if it is necessary. So well documented proofs for treatments of any findings as well as the ability to listen to my concern is at the top of my checklist for a good medical professional. I shopped around for dental consultations to evaluate who would be truthful to me and quite a few of highly rated clinics based on google reviews are very pushy in getting procedures done. In one clinic, I saw the owner yelling and criticizing his associate in front of the whole staff and patients in the waiting room. That was very unethical and frowned upon in a workplace setting. Anyway, I came across Dr. Nguyen by accident when I attended a local festival in the community. I walked by their booth and got the flier there. Booking is pretty easy and they seem to be very responsive through email. If you hate calling in for appointments like me, you can just send an email and request to be communicated that way. On the appointment date, I didn’t have to wait long but 5-10 minutes and be walked in. Their office is clean with nice decorations, and seems to be fully digital. Since I was shopping around for a dentist that I would frequently go to, I was chatty as it was necessary to get all the info I needed. I found that Dr. Nguyen just recently bought the office from Dr. Ovcharenko, whom you see a lot of reviews about him here. She spent 25 minutes with me examining my xray, taking pictures inside my mouth, explaining her diagnosis and potential treatments. She wrote up a treatment plan with a cost table comparing self pay, through the insurance, and discount % they can throw in. She said I can use it to track the treatment progress, as well as cost planning, and I am free to use the information to seek a second opinion, and if I want to do the treatment with her, I am welcome to come back anytime, then the front staff will help me figure out my insurance as well as how to maximize my allowance. This is something only a clinic has access to and they are the only one know which codes will be billed. A patient like me can call the insurance, but the answers I am often given are vague and not connected to the treatment I would get. So having someone who knows the game to work with you is a huge plus. I don't really see other clinics go that far. They also didn’t charge me a record transfer fee to bring my records elsewhere as well. I absolutely dig the way they operate here. Dr. Nguyen worked with me like a true patient-doctor relationship, up front on her treatments, no pushy, and with documented proofs about my teeth problems. The front staff’s willingness to work on the insurance part is another huge plus. I don’t feel like a cow being milked for money after this visit. If you are looking for a dentist you can trust, give Dr. Nguyen a try, I believe it would be worth your time.
Years ago my wisdom tooth extraction left me with permanent nerve damage and I was reluctant to go for any other dental appointment if i don’t have to. But i needed to deal with my progressively aching tooth. After shopping around, found this office tucked away. Staff is helpful and quick in setting up appointment, they told me what i would be paying upfront, which is nice. Doctor was no-nonsense and straight to the point. Giving me affordable options and explaining the jargon to me in a way i can understand. Half the fear for me is not knowing what to expect before and after a procedure bc of my bad experience. But doctor N was really reassuring. Overall the experience was less anxiety filled than i thought which i’m really thankful for.
I had an incredible experience. Dr. Nguyen and her staff were very professional. Clean offices. Everything on time. I had another dentist try to upsell me on everything so it was refreshing to meet a dentist that focuses on what the patient really needs.
Dr. Ovcharenko was great, so sad he left. Very bad experience with the new Dr., my sister had a crown done, some how before getting the crown her tooth broke she went back to get the actual crown a week ago…well the crown broke again!! Dr. Is really rough, her work can never be compared to Dr. Ovcharenko. I stopped taking my kids and definitely not going there myself. I rather make the 45 min to Dr. Ovcharenko. 4 trips for a crown??? Are you kidding me?!?! NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS OFFICE AGAIN!!!!
