Putting Youth in the City first!
Lori Thomas, director of the newly-formed YF Reno/Sparks, has been working with teens for 30 years in the local area. She was the Teen Director at the Boys $ Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, and before that was the area director of Young Life for 20 years, an English Teacher @ Reed High, and a graduate of UNR. She also works part-time for Washoe High in their adult program.
The mission of Youth First, which is a 501(c) 3, is to impact the lives of teens and preteens with the hope of Jesus Christ in tangible and real ways. Adults enter the world of teens, share their lives & their faith through word & deed, and develop mentoring relationships.
