FEISTEY (Federation of Energetic, Independent, Senior Temple Emanu-El Youth) is a youth group ranging from Grades 6-12.
FEISTEY (Federation of Energetic, Independent, Senior Temple Emanu-El Youth) is a youth group ranging from Grades 6-12. Our youth group has a rich history, providing teens with a welcoming environment that cultivates leadership. FEISTEY for years has been a well established and respected organization, and will continue to do so under the direction of Ryan Leszner.
FEISTEY’s primary goal is to establish an open community where members of Temple Emanu-El and the greater Jewish community can get together in order to make new friends, see old friends, and to maintain a connection with the youth at our Temple. In order to achieve our primary goal, members of the FEISTEY executive board laid out a couple of secondary goals:
-to provide interesting programs run by the youth, for the youth
to teach about leadership skills, and provide opportunities to use the skills AND receive community service hours
-to provide lots of food!
-to complete the renovations of our newly improved youth lounge.
-increase membership in order to provide programming for more kids!
