The food was really great both times I've been here. The show is really good and the cooks are very entertaining. Highly recommended!

Great Sushi. One of the really good Japanese Hibachi and Sushi restaurants in Hoover, AL. Wants me and my family wanting to go again.

Very good food, place was clean and the staff was attentive.

$38 a drink and Chicken shrimp and steak combo, went to Walmart $13 bag of shrimp to go with my box full of rice and the box full of disappointment / rip off

We ate there tonight on the hibachi side and although the food was decent think your average hibachi style/taste the service was horrendous. We got our drinks and salads from the server and never saw from them again until we had eaten and were waiting on the check. Even then it took a long time to pay and leave. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the 'Super Crunch Shrimp' roll was actually tasty. The rest of the food was as average as average gets and the service was abysmal.

Been here numerous times. Food and service are declining. We ate here Thursday and I left a very generous $10 cash tip. Looked at my bank account today and I was charged an additional $12 than what was on my receipt. Looks like someone added themselves and additional tip. Called my bank and filed a dispute against this restaurant for fraudulent charges!!!!! We will not be back. The lady on the phone at the restaurant acted like this has happened before.

Been to this restaurant many times over the years. Both food quality and service quality have been declining for months. We waited 30 minutes to be seated this time. Then waited another 20 minutes before beverage orders were taken. Another 20 minutes before food orders were taken. Finally, after yet another 30 minutes, we were trying to pay for beverages, soup and salad, the chef finally came out to prepare our food. The chef overcooked our proteins and undercooked our veggies. We had told the hostess several times that we were unhappy with the timeline, she was totally unconcerned and rude.

My family and I went to this restaurant for my birthday. We had heard it was a great place to eat. But when we went, we waited for 1 hour to be seated, there was a long hair in my food, my dad had a piece of metal in his food, and when the chef flipped the rice out of the bowl a roach flew out. Definitely never coming back!!

The food is great. Equivalent to stix if not better. Came out fast and hot when sitting in a booth not at the grill. Lunch prices are wonderful. Owners are poor. They say they serve lunch until 3 PM 7.99 plate but stop allowing people to order OR EVEN SEE the lunch menu when dinner plate is 18.99. We were able to order lunch at 2:45after confronting them but we watched them rip off a bunch of teenagers. That's pretty sad. They should change their advertisement to lunch ends at 2:45. I hate when people rip off kids because they can.

Steak tartare, tuna tartare and sushi were all delicious. Our server was nice and attentive. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. This is definitely more of a family place and not a date night restaurant. The only beers were domestic. I had a glass of wine that wasn't enjoyable and had been open a little long. I wouldn't hold that against them if you aren't looking for ambiance and are more interested in a night out with the family.
