Yukon Lodge

Wife is staying there on a course. She forgot her cap for her uniform, I spend $$$ to ship it fast, had her name and rank, and room number, Canada post informed me they refused the package!! Terrible front desk workers that believe they own the place!! Stay away, terrible service for one of the worse accommodations in CAF.

Wasn't sure what to expect being a military hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, looks like a brand new shower, bed was comfortable and it was quiet, even across from the airfield. Staff super friendly as well. A bit dated, but being so clean, wasn't really a big deal. Definitely will not hesitate to stay here again. *pictures a bit dark as was 2am when I arrived.

as far as somewhere to rest your head during course, cannot complain. but if i’m to judge this like it’s any other hotel/motel: - cleaning staff are extremely intrusive. it’s not their fault, their policy is to ignore the do not disturb sign and enter the room every other day. even if it’s 8am and you are asleep on crew rest. this happened over and over. - not sure who is in charge of maintenance but i left 4 seperate notes at the front desk about having my toilet fixed, as it was running 24/7 and my room smelt like toilet water. after 2 weeks i went out for a tool and fixed it myself. - old building so nobodies fault, but the walls are paper thin. if you are on the phone your neighbor can hear every word. - ice machine has been broken for ages and there’s no interest in fixing it - the internet blocks practically everything, this includes outlook email, BGRS military moving company, and veterans affairs canada, to name a few. made it near impossible to get administration done when their is poor service and the internet blocks even your email. this is no indictment on the staff, they are all absolutely lovely and just doing their job as directed.

Very easy check in and super nice. Hotel room much nicer than expected. Spotless bathroom, iron with board, tv, mini fridge and microwave, desk. Towels and toiletries provided. #localguide

Not a bad spot at all! Very affordable, clean modern rooms. The cell phone service isn’t the greatest though due to the location, no fault of the Yukon lodge, and they really need coffee makers in each room.

Clean affordable hotel accommodations for military personnel and retired vets. Trenton is a huge bad with so much to see.

Dated rooms, hard bed, but somewhat quiet. Hair dyer, Coffee and toiletries. Towels provided. Walking distance to business.
