The place is very yummy! Like, super yummy! The name does it justice! I had a very delicious sandwich made with fajita chicken. It was incredible! My friend had a wrap! We also ordered duck bites as an appetizer. Pretty tasty! They also have a great selection of flavored coffees. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star review is that they were not taking any precautions for Covid-19. Even stranger still is that the entire town all places we've seen behaves as if there isn't a virus. We were glad we ate here and we wouldn't have if it had been more crowded. I wish more people would protect others and do the right thing!
Tried Yums today for lunch. The staff were super friendly and the food was tasty! I had the corn and crab chowder and Caesar salad both which were great. My wife had the shrimp tacos which I tried and those were also tasty as well! Today was Sunday and they close at 2 not 3 like GMB says, so they need to update this on their GMB cause we almost didn’t make it by 2. Anyway great food and friendly staff! We would definitely eat here again!
Sarah is s drunk an conned me out of 3000$ as a friend loaned her to keep business afloat...she betrayed me and tried to discredit me...i thought we were friends...was wrong.. Sarah cares about sarah..will step on Anyone to move up..ient her the last money i had to my name to hel them.. they made absolutelyno effort to help me...im on the verge of being homeless because i tried to help them...they could care less.
I was on the island with some buddies for some fishing over the weekend. Couldn’t find a place to grab some grub but then we stumbled across this place. We were very happy with this place, nothing fancy but really nice people and good easy food. Got some burgers, chicken sandwiches, and wings. Everything was hot, fresh, and really hit the spot. Had some beers with dinner and left full and happy. Staff was awesome and very friendly. Great little place to grab a bite, I would recommend and definitely will hit it again next time I’m on the island.
We stopped here to eat and it's over priced for the amount of food they give! Will never eat here again or recommend it! Waste of $50 The picture is of kids meal for $7
Yum! Yes, that name is not a misnomer! Everything was so delicious, especially the crab gumbo, we had to come back the next day. But it doesn't end with the yummy food. There was a mix up with another customer. The manager gave us back $20 to compensate. We felt bad taking it but she insisted. So the customer service is 'yummy' as well.
We wanted to love it but from the disdainful stares of the locals, lack of fresh seafood, and shrimp tacos that the shrimp still had to be deveined gross, and listening to the staff place their food and supply order while trying to enjoy lunch... This was an utterly disappointing stop. Not to mention hearing them discuss that they didn't have any premix dressing for the coleslaw and not knowing what to do.... We understood it was "off season" but Yums left a bad taste in our mouth during our vacation experience.
We had Dinner one night here and the breakfast one morning during our trip. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good! I had the shrimp tacos for dinner and the crab and shrimp omelet for breakfast. Both were very good!! The grits were also VERY good!!
We have been to grand isle twice and eaten here both times. They’re always quick, the restaurant is clean and the food is wonderful! I had a roast beef po boy once and it was amazing! This time around we ordered 4 cheese burgers and fries to go and by the time we walked across the street it was ready and they’re where excellent and even had toasted buns! 10/10 would recommend.
I work in Grand Isle quite a bit so I have been to just about every restaurant on the island but Yum’s is by far the best! We go there everyday for lunch and occasionally eat breakfast there. They have wonderful staff and very good food! I certainly recommend it to anyone that is visiting the island or anyone that lives there that has not been there to try this place out. They will not let you down!
