Type Super friendly & knowledgable staff. Excellent selection of books plus related items. Very relaxing place to be. .
I wish I had checked this library out sooner! Not as big as the "main" Yuma library but it has the same services and modern amenities with less of the foot traffic. 4 Stars because in my opinion it's worth stopping in for a look.
Katelynn helped me find books on Ceasar Chavez, the man who lead the farm workers union. Thank you Katelynn for the professional courtesy and kindness that you extened to me and all the library's patrons. There are large study rooms available at this location and a good selection of books to read. Gracias Yuma County Heritage Library!
Friendly staff, clean and safe environment. Plenty of resources for kids, teens, and adults.
Great place you can eat for free every day here
Though not as big or as modern as the Ave B library I really enjoy everything it has to offer. Which considering it's size is a great deal!! The exterior setting is actually quite pretty, lots of big trees & shady spots. Sadly some of it's plants outside need tending to, water pruning...It's inviting entrance needs attending to But then again I love gardening!!
On Tuesdays and Thursdays they allow a church to come feed the Homeless and down on their luck that's very nice and the library itself is great and the staff are very knowledgeable and we appreciate what they do and also they allow another church The Rock to come on Saturdays to take care of the homeless this is a very nice place even for family
I needed something printed and A nice young woman helped me. Kaitlyn was very positive and helpful. I'm very grateful for all your knowledge. You are a beautiful person.
OK so the staff are really helpful and the library is nice. the big problem is you have 80percent homeless people ,camping outside and inside, around the area. I go once a week and I see those same people they're all day I sat on a chair after one homeless man and o caught some scabies or bugs on those computer chairs, also I had my daughter with me,its scary sometimes.
There are homeless people sitting in front of the entrance smoking every time we try to walk in with the kids. I really can't stand that but we won't be coming back after today. We go out of our way to get the kids to this summer movie only to be told, "we need to get our toddler under control noise wise or that we need to leave." He was a miserly old man telling us too. This is supposed to be a kids event right? I understand that it is a movie and all but its a kids movie. We definitely won't be back to this library. The only reason we ever came to this dump of a library was because of how great Miss Janie was. We will miss her lots!
