Zachary's Chicago Pizza

I love the service at this location. The staff was friendly and patient with my husband who was a first timer. The pizza was hot and delicious. You know the ingredients are fresh from the smell and taste. They are a little PRICEY. But it's definitely a treat.Food: 4/5

Layered with flavor. Recommend a minimal pizza to get the simple flavors that make a pizza a pizza. Sauce was fantastic. Crust was flaky and buttery. Caesar salad was crisp and perfectly dressed. Come with an appetite and order the large for a late night snack.Food: 5/5

Absolutely my favorite deep dish pizza. They're really not stingy about putting in quality ingredients into their pie. The result is a deep dish that has very good balance between sweet, salty, tart and umami. The aroma is also surprisingly refreshing. The mozzarella was generous and it's satisfyingly stringy when you pick up a piece. The crust is a proper pie crust, a very good snack on it's own. The regular pizza is also pretty good, seriously a proper and succulent pizza still adorned with quality ingredients. The tomato sauce is very good with precise amount of garlic infused. Ambiance is ok-ish but the service is great and very attentive while not judging the eaters like us who confused on how to properly eat a deep dish. Kudos. Price is quite affordable. I seriously don't know why I didn't eat more of Zachary's when I was a student of the nearby college. Now that I live a million miles away I can only replay how good it tastes in my head.

Zachary's favorite chicken special staffed pizza, small size was somewhat delicious. I ordered it to go and waited at least 30 min the order to be ready to pick up. After tasting it, I was not overly impressed. It is better than average, nevertheless. However, when i looked at the price, it looks like it is too high. Unless i dine inside the restaurant, the price would probably be just right, because i would get an additional benefit which is the experience to be in a nicely decorated area with many people enjoying their meal. I would just recommend to try it just one time so that you can see the difference between this stuffed pizza and a regular thin pizza we all like to eat.

The spinach and mushroom deep dish is outstanding and if you can get a half-baked pie and finish at your home kitchen, do it!!! Dining in is fun and enjoyable, too, and I appreciate the chance to be there. Friendly service by new and veteran staff — thank you!!!

Really love this Chicago Deep dish specialty shop! They are a long time local gem. The deep dish chicken special with pesto inside is great. I like it but substitute Double mushroom instead of chicken as I try to minimize animal products in my food. Would be great if they entertained doing a Vegan pizza & or Calzone.Food: 5/5

The pizza was soooo good. Thick and juicy. I had a slice and a half was stuffed like the pizza. It was expensive but was totally worth it and I'll definitely go back. Service was super friendly and on point. They accommodated my large group without a problem. They also serve beer which is always good. Lots of cool shops in the area too. Vegetarian options: I really don't often choose an all vegetarian pizza but my friend is a vegetarian and his pizza was better than the one I ordered with meat.

I mean everytime I'm in town this is one of my go to spots. The pizza is amazing, and the portions are great. I usually do not need utensils to eat pizza, but this one here might require a little help. You will not be disappointed.

Ordered a pizza that was supposed to have meat, had none. By the time it got here the cheese had fused with the bottom of the cardboard box requiring a lot of work with a spatula and knife just to pick up a slice. Extremely overpriced. They even have a fraudulent Doordash menu -- show a picture of a stuffed pizza but list it with the price of thin crust which is ~$10 less. To get the pictured item you have to choose the 'option' to add $10. Everything about this experience was awful and I want nothing to do with these absolute clowns ever again.
