The food was good. Rated 3.5 But needed little more seasoning . Basically in my opinion made more for Americanized standard than criolloa meaning typical home country.Food: 3/5
It was our first visit and it took a second to realize we should go up to the counter to order, before taking a seat. I had the ceviche - it was really terrific! I love cilantro, but it wasn't over the top with that flavor. Hubby had a surf n turf something... steak and scallops and yucca - and he was a big fan of his dish too!
Oh my goodness the food there is always great the chicken is so tasty and the food is always picture perfect I love that restaurant! The employees are very nice. I ordered the half grilled chicken with yellow rice black beans and sweet plantains and it was so tasty. They have a white sauce I don't know what it is but it is the bomb you have to try it!
I eat lunch here a lot. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I love the chicken! The black beans are tasty with the yellow rice! Great little local place that does it right!Food: 5/5
Had a good experience here, but the environment is a little strange the first time you visit - you order at the counter but it almost seems like it should be a sit down place, and there was a lot of open space like there should have been tables present but they were removed. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner, that was a mistake. There's a reason they sell it so cheap With that said, though, we had a great meal. My wife had a 1/4 chicken and black beans with yellow rice and potatoes. I had the sauteed pork and wow it had great flavor. I would definitely repeat and come again!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! I eat here at least 2 to 3 times a week! There rotisserie chicken and garlic potatoes are BOMB! Their desserts are delicious the Nutella 3 leches and Flan are 10 out of 10Food: 5/5
The food is incredible here! Zarza is one of my favorite places to eat in Lakeland and the fact that it's a local family run business makes it even better! I moved to Winter Haven from Lakeland a couple years ago and still drive 30+ minutes just to eat at Zarza. My go to order is the half chicken, rice, beans, and plantains. All of the sauces they offer are delicious as well. 5 stars!
1st time tonight, the staff girl who took the order very nice and friendly. I don’t recall eating Peruvian before but the food was decent. A little different than what I am used to but definitely a nice place to visit and support. Next I will try the rotisserie chicken. Parking: I don’t see parking being an issue. Kid-friendliness: Tv with cartoons my son was enjoying while he waited for his salchipapas 1st time trying
I liked the food here. A nice surprise. Good portions. Features: No mask required. Employees not wearing masks.
Very good specials and better portions! I love rice and beans and theirs was delicious. The different sauces/veggies were an awesome addition to the meal. Overall, the food was great and I can’t wait to go back.
