Approximately 4 years ago, I went to Healing with Zen, and right after my first acupuncture treatment with Zen, I felt relief from several of the health concerns I had at the time. At first, I received acupuncture treatments twice/week, and felt much better after each each treatment, and as time went by and many of my concerns were either improved and/or resolved, my treatments went down to once every two weeks, then three weeks and now only once/per month to treat any concerns I might have. Zen is extremely patient,caring and knowledgeable in treating my health concerns. She goes out of her way to answer all my questions, and to make recommendations to help my health in general. Her staff are also very polite and helpful After receiving acupuncture treatment all these years, and feeling so much better, I recommend Zen and her staff to everyone who wants to feel better not only physically, but emotionally. I'm very thankful to Zen and plan on continuing to receive acupuncture treatments at Healing with Zen.
WOW. First time trying acupuncture after four decades despite my fear of needles...it was life changing. I limped into the office with debilitating pain and pinched nerves. Karina was kind and professional during her warm reception. Dr. Janice Lee was attentive to my needs and understood what was required to remedy the situation. After her initial treatment my outlook went from desperate to optimistic on returning to a normal life. I will definitely continue my treatment with Janice and the Healing with Zen team!
I'm so impressed with the staff and care from Healing with Zen. With Zen's help and a strict herbal protocol, I was able to keep 2 teeth from needing root canals, and revascularize a tooth that had been infected for 4 years. She also did an amazing job helping my sinuses sleep and joint pain. I first came to her in January 2023 for my case. After the first treatment my symptoms from the tooth infection improved, and my clogged sinuses drained and continued to stay mostly clear while being treated by her. Zen always listened to me and had genuine interest in my journey and everything that's going on. But the time March came around I was slowly making progress improving the infection, but had not yet been able to rid it completely and rather than risk losing more of the tooth structure, I ended up opting for a partial root canal treatment called a revascularization, where the necrotic pulp is removed, and we use PRF to help stimulate blood, lymph and dentin to regrow but not the nerve, if there is healthy bleeding a month after the pulpectomy. Even though the tooth had been infected for 4 years and I had to remove my wisdom teeth in between procedures, alas! Healthy blood flow was there, and we were able to successfully attempt the revascularization procedure. The infected area of the bone seems to be healing slowly and I didn't need to take any antibiotics. Also #11 healed enough that it didn't even need vital pulp therapy once it was worked on, just a filling. #10 did need vital pulp therapy direct pulp cap, but it was only a very small part of the root that was exposed, and it had no bleeding or sign of inflammation so it wasn't necessary to remove any of the pulp. According to Dr Riman's experience, she finds Vital Pulp therapy is successful about 70% of the time in adults. I really cannot thank Zen enough for all her help and support and listening to me rambling on and on about teeth lol. Aside from being an amazing acupuncturist, she's also just an incredibly kind and grounded person, who always encouraged me and validated my feelings. I took a break from acupuncture for about a month again once my teeth had stabilized for financial reasons, and lately my sinuses and knee pain flaired up again after relaxing my dietary restrictions. I went back to Zen, and lo and behold, my sinuses drained a little right away minutes after treatment. I always look forward to seeing her. Zen is a true healer and a master at her craft and I am just so grateful to have the privilege to be her client. Thank you, Zen, for being such a caring person! 11.11/10 highly recommend~
Krystal is a wonderful acupuncturist. I have always been afraid of needles. She takes her time with me; she's very gentle. She makes sure that if at any point I am uncomfortable, she removes any needles that bother me. I am so grateful that I found her. I highly recommend her!
My acupuncturist, Janice Lee was knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate. The treatment was helpful for my health issues. Dina the office manager was very warm and friendly. The rooms offer a reclining chair or a massage table with heat. I preferred the chair. There was a “zen” vibe while being treated. Highly recommend!
Janice is amazing. I felt better after my very first visit. She takes the time to listen to me and all my ailments and finds a way to target them during each visit. I always leave feeling 100% better than when I came in. She has the magic touch. Not only is she good at her job, but she is empathetic, witty and funny and really cares for her patients. I cannot recommend her enough. She is my absolute favorite.
What a great place. Krystal did ear acupuncture, I was so relaxed I fell asleep. I initially did seed acupressure with great success sleeping through the night so I thought I should try acupuncture this time. Thank you
This has been a wonderful, friendly and healing place for acupuncture. I began going as part of my IVF journey and it has made a world of difference with my anxiety and stress levels. They have continually adapted my treatment to meet my changing needs under IVF and been wonderfully supportive along the way. Highly recommend.
This review is so overdue! I've been working with Zen for almost 4 months and she is absolutely wonderful. I came to her having recently been diagnosed with PCOS and missing my menstrual cycle, as well as suffering from digestive issues, allergies, and intermittent back/shoulder/neck pain. Since working with her, my digestive issues have greatly improved, I no longer have allergy symptoms even around dogs, which used to always cause me issues, I haven't had any significant pain, and my cycle is starting to regulate! First, the front desk staff Jenny and Dina are both so sweet and friendly. They give you all the info you need to get started and make it so easy to schedule and pay. And Zen herself is SO kind, personable, and knowledgeable - you can tell that she genuinely wants to help you feel better. She makes you feel comfortable at each visit, especially if it's your first experience with acupuncture which it was for me. She can also provide lifestyle recommendations/natural supplements/Chinese herbs that can help you improve your symptoms as well. I'm so glad I started working with her - but as other reviewers have mentioned, the key is to be consistent with your treatments! I did notice positive changes after the first treatment, but it did take some time to for the benefits to be more stable. Anyway, if you're looking to try acupuncture, you should definitely come to Healing with Zen!
I had an amazing experiment at Healing With Zen. Zen and Vanessa were so helpful in explaining the process of acupuncture to me since it was my first time. I instantly felt so comfortable as they walked me though the process. The facial acupuncture I received was AMAZING! During the session I felt so relaxed. I had been struggling with sleep issues for months now and after my session I went right to sleep! I slept for a full 9 hours and felt so refreshed! I would recommend Healing with Zen to anyone interested in trying Acupuncture and Herbal Remedies.
