Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a celebration of this concept. Patients or their employers pay the providers directly, allowing them the freedom to care for the patients in the way they know best – without all the red tape and hassle associated with health insurance and government payers.
Patients get great care at affordable prices, and the healthcare providers are incentivized to provide it because they have already been paid – without all the hassles of someone else telling them how to practice medicine. It’s a win-win proposition!
