Zoar Cemetery is a small cemetery in Grass Township, Spencer County, Indiana.
Zoar Cemetery is located in Grass Township, Spencer County, Indiana, about 8 miles north of Rockport, out the Old State Road. About a half mile after crossing CR 500, turn west at a culvert. The cemetery is up a gravel lane behind crop fields.
The cemetery was the burial ground for the Zoar Evangelical Association until that church burned in August, 1920 after being struck by lightening. The congregation joined Salem Evangelical Church in Rockport but several families continued to use the cemetery.
The earliest burial on record is that of Lydia J Egnew (daughter of A. A. and Lydia Egnew), died 5 Aug 1851.
The cemetery is currently under the care of the Shourds family, whose farm is contiguous with the cemetery.
