This place has awesome soup! You can sample as many as you want, but it only makes the choice harder. It's seriously so good. If you can't decide between two soups, you can get a side pair meal and save a dollar. I got this and was not disappointed. A piece of bread is included with the soup! Usually, this place has a nice atmosphere because of friendly staff. Can get bread bowls to go! But if you really want lots of soup, the bread bowls only come with a small soup, so beware. This place is a bit expensive, but it's delicious so I don't mind. However, if you show up within 15 minutes of closing, don't expect to be greeted or served. Their open signs were out, but they had no soup tags and made no attempt to help serve us. The employees dropped what they were doing to stare at us until we walked out. This is the only bad experience I've had here and I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of service.
My kids and I love this place! We haven't ordered a soup we didn't like. Maybe that is because we can taste test each one before ordering! Also, their sandwiches are very easy to personalize. I usually turn mine into a wrap. Yummy! My 10 yr old son really likes the chicken Caesars salad as well. I have ordered online. Though you cannot taste test the soups, they describe each one in detail. You can pay when you pick up or online. My order hasn't ever been late or inaccurate. Also, they list the different soups online as they change up 100 or more recipes. The cost is pretty comparable to most restaurants in the area.
Soup had really good flavor but no decent chunks of real food. Overpriced considering your meal is basically broth and bread. Not sure if the server just skimmed the top of the pot to dish out our meals or if it is always that way, but not in a rush to go back to find out. What I did like is that you can sample the large selection of soups before you order one. The place was clean and inviting. Service was friendly.
I probably eat here at least once a week, and I am never disappointed! The variety of soup is excellent, and the small sandwiches that you can order on the side are nice and simple, and always delicious. I highly suggest the maple bacon ham sandwich, and the chicken pot pie soup. Customer service here is great too, everyone always seems to be in a good mood, they are polite, and they seem to remember me whenever I walk in! Don't skip on trying Zoup!
This Soup is amazing!! Try this place!! I had the crab corn chowder - so yummy!! When they ask you if you want bread, say YES!! Choose the yummy French bread, it comes with real butter. We also had the ham sandwich. It was great!! We will definitely be back!!
Spendy soup This is my second time coming and realized for the second time that it was an expensive sandwich and cup of soup. The sandwich was small and less than impressive as far as flavor or ingredients. The soups were good but I didn't feel it was worth nearly $7.00 for a cup of soup. For the two of us it was nearly $20.00 for a small sandwich and a cup of soup. Overpriced in my opinion. The restaurant is clean and quiet.
Decent prices , got a soup and sandwich. Try all the soups they have that day and decide which one you want it's fun to do . Felt the portions was plenty Enough to fill. Sandwich was simple but really good . Soup was what I taste tested and good . Fast and healthier than fast food. Worth it if your around one
Bad service and over priced. I have been here 3 times, each time was a disappointment never again. On average I would pay $25 for lunch for two soup, salad, and a drink, which is ridiculous considering what you get. The soup is not amazing and the salad was sub-par. If you want good soup check out the Co-Op, Market of Choice, or even Panera. You can tell this is just some rich person's franchise expansion, since the staff is not tentative in their work. The final nail in the coffin is that they use plastic utensils, dishes, cups and have no recycling containers! For a restaurant where most people dine in, why not have reusable washable things or at least have a recycling container?
The bread is hard, rough and dry. The soup is runny with very little substance The "polo loco" salad is just a caesar with tortilla strips. There was slimy old lettice in the salad. All very overpriced. The menu was so complicated with hidden difficult to understand charges. This is why our country is fat. Our healthy food stores are subpar. The salad tasted ok and soup tasted ok. The employees were a plus, I would have asked for a refund if they hadn't been so nice.
Friendly staff, all the soups were good. Was offered to try several kinds to choose. Bread bowl was a perfectly toasted and delicious. Reasonably priced.
