Zylstra Insurance Agency is an Independently Owned & Operated Insurance Agency est. in 1992 in Maple Lake, MN.
Zylstra Insurance Agency was established in 1992 by Dave and Darlene Zylstra, Ryan’s parents. Ryan joined the family business full-time in 2006. Sadly, Dave passed away in Nov. 2014, leaving Ryan and Darlene to run the business. Hans joined the team in May of 2015, which allowed Darlene to retire in 2017. She will continue to help out in the office as needed.
We continue to operate from the original Zylstra Family farm and completed renovation of Ryan’s grandparents’ farm house into office space in August 2015. We are located 5 miles north of Maple Lake, MN.
