1/2 of 1/2 Name Brand Clothing

1/2 of 1/2 is a clothing store in Richardson, Texas that sells name brand clothing at discounted prices. The store is often crowded and the clothing is haphazardly put on racks, making it difficult to find what you are looking for. Some of the deals are good, but others are not worth the price. Overall, I would not recommend this store. Here is a more detailed review of the store: Crowded and cluttered The first thing you will notice when you walk into 1/2 of 1/2 is that it is very crowded. The aisles are narrow and the racks are packed with clothing. It can be difficult to move around and browse the racks, especially on weekends. The clothing is also haphazardly put on racks. This makes it difficult to find what you are looking for and the clothes are often wrinkled and damaged. I found myself having to dig through piles of clothes to find something that I liked. Some deals are good, others are not Some of the deals at 1/2 of 1/2 are good. I found a few items that were well-priced and of good quality. However, other items were overpriced, even though they were discounted. I also found that some of the clothes were damaged or had stains. Unhelpful staff The staff at 1/2 of 1/2 is not very helpful. They are often busy and do not have time to help customers find what they are looking for. I asked a staff member for help finding a specific size and style of shirt, but they were unable to help me. Overall, not worth it Overall, I would not recommend 1/2 of 1/2. There are other stores in the area that sell name brand clothing at discounted prices without the same drawbacks. For example, I have had good experiences shopping at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. These stores are also crowded, but the staff is more helpful and the clothing is better organized. If you are looking for name brand clothing at discounted prices, I would recommend shopping at another store. 1/2 of 1/2 is not worth the hassle.

Went in to the store not even a minute in a cashier started yelling at my TWO year old daughter to not play. I was about to get my daughter out of the rack she was is and that is when the cashier started Yelling. I understand about safety under the racks but Yelling at a two year old, I find that unacceptable. I didnt say anything to prevent confrontation as I am not that type of person, but I was livid when I heard the cashier yelling. My daughter was scared at that moment. Please do better in going about that, and not attacking a two year old.

Cheap? Yes. But I feel like I need a shower every time my otherwise wonderful wife cuffs and drags me in here. This is the Land of Misfit Clothes. Some of the shoes have mud on them. I shudder to think about who's been pre-wearing stuff. But, hey, you're essentially buying clothing by the pound.

Way too much inventory, inventory is very disorganized, most things on clearance or markdowns was damaged stained ripped. Found a couple of good things but was exhausted at the end of my scavenge

Gigantic store. But if you have a Mobility Aid take it because you will need it. There is nowhere to sit in that store. Not senior or handicap friendly place . Had to sign up as an Insider and give a name and address to get the discount on the items as marked on the flyer. Did not like that part.

SO first time here and first impression: CHAOTIC. Sizes are mixed up, there is an excessive amount of clothes in here, and a little overpriced. A lot of the clothes is very old and finding something cute and affordable will be a little difficult because what is cheap is either ripped or the zipper is broken etc.

I have shopped in this store numerous times within the last few years and tonight was the absolute worse shopping experience. As I’m looking through the clothing, with my son next to me, one of the workers literally came in the same aisle so close to my child he could feel him breathing on his neck. We moved away to the other side of the aisle and the worker proceeded to follow us. At this point I was getting visibly upset and said something to him. I asked him to remove himself away from us. He then proceeded to continue following us and remaining so close to my son that I angrily said to him “ get AWAY from my child”. My son who is hearing impaired was also visibly getting upset. I was a retail manager for 10 years, if you’re going to follow someone do it discreetly. Train your associates better!!!!

I love finding deals here. I was looking for a vacuum but bought a cute pair of jeans, pj's and two pairs of shoes. Only spent $25.00. these items were on sale. Not crowded.

Took a while to go through everything but well worth it! I’ll be back!

My Sister I found some great items. Yes you must look through but trust me it can be worth your time. Greg the Cashier was also very kind both visits.
