Let me start by saying, it's never fun to be in this position where you have to find a place to take these classes. However, I will tell you that in my experience when I found 1st star counseling, I felt like I immediately belonged there. The staff is absolutely incredible! While there are fa few people there, they take the time to actually listen to you and your story. They genuinely care. Peggy and Sarah are the two best people I've ever found in my search looking for a place to take these classes. I highly highly highly recommend them!

A Colorado DV workbook is truly exceptional. It describes the core competencies in complete detail and offers templates to all assignments required throughout the course. Its truly a wonderful tool for clients and providers.
