Like how they have massively upgraded this station. More lighting, newer bus shelters, and these battery-electric bus chargers I have yet to see in action. Currently they are fixing the escalator for the waterfront-bound trains so it’s a bit of a pain to take the stairs up or down this area as it’s narrow. Yes there are elevators but they’re slow and kinda gross so I just allow extra walking time when I am at this station.
this station needs a washroom so the people doesnt need stopor go to the new westminister station ,just to use tim horton or safeway washroom,. sometimes their washroom is out of service. it was really hard to hold the pee during the winter time especially if the bus driver arrive so late just like 4yrs ago,bus #100 arrive 20 mins late
Amazing bus terminal with a lot of connecting buses going in all directions. Especially temples .
It was convenient to my location. The elevator and escalator work well. Train info accurate. Was relatively clean and felt safe here.
Excellent station, there is no crowding and the service is good, but it needs some more cleaning
Poorly designed run down SkyTrain station, currently being upgraded. As TransLink does not care about seniors or those with disabilities, there are no public restrooms.
I would rate it lower if it weren't for how many useful buses loop here. This is a pretty constantly busy station sat practically in the middle of nowhere. There are often shifty characters around, but with how many people are there and transit staff often posted here I've seen no issues. The place is rather dirty and open, and the drop off zone is inadequate. Purely for function though, like all transit stations, it works like clockwork.
I've been working here doing charity fundraisers for the past 2 days, a lot of people are in a rush, but a lot of people are nice enough to stop and see what were up too. Only downfall is not enough garbage cans and no washrooms at this station!
As this is my go-to station commuting around the city, I do have a sentimental appreciation for it. This station has centrality as one of its key features. There are some cons to this busy station: 1. the area surrounding the compass card turnstiles is inadequately sheltered from weather and is often thick with puddles. 2. There are only three rather indirect pedestrian routes to the station: One direct route is accessible dangerously by crossing 20th St and then crossing the bus wrap-around road. I do not recommend this way as the buses rush in this way and it is not safe if you are not aware of your surroundings. That being said, there are also some great features to this Translink SkyTrain station. 1. There are 6 or so compass card turnstiles to help with the throngs of people moving in opposing directions. 2. There are buses available to get you to Edmonds, Queensborough, and Richmond! This station is a gateway to the Tri-Cities because you can head over to New Westminster on the 101 bus, down south on the 410 bus, or out west on the SkyTrain! 3. There is always someone handing out the free daily newspaper in the morning: They always have a smile on their face. If you're just passing through, enjoy your ride! If you're on your way home: stay dry!
It's a SkyTrain station with nothing but residential homes surrounding it so there's not too much to rate either positively or negatively.
