While the employees are nice the jury selection is way too long than it should be. Court room 307.
Not a place you want to be if you don't have to be there.....
It's pretty much what you'd expect. It's a bit run down. It's a bit sketchy looking. Every worker I encountered was really nice. There was a lot of waiting around but there was secure wifi and vending. They know jury folks are a lot of nervous and new people and answer a lot of questions. Cafeteria is underwhelming, but fine. Food provided for jurors would have probably been good hot. Sadly, by the time we got to our room it was ice cold. No one ate it.
Worst possible places to be in lock up if your a white girl from the suburbs and it's a Saturday. You'll get attacked and then they'll hold you for longer cause you were a problem even tho you didn't start the fight.
5th Floor - Dominique forgive me if I spelled it wrong has spectacular customer service. Kind, helpful, professional and prompt with the things I needed to get done.
Clerk lady gave me attitude and didn’t know how to do her job she was just being lazy and didn’t want to help me and still transferred me to another building and they still did not answer. It’s been ringing for the last 5 minutes.
It’s been more than month the background check is pending with cook county , the service is going into black hole.
I was sentenced to life in prison, would not recommend.
