An unassuming place that does what it's supposed to do - serve great food - and does it really well. We ordered the bamboo chicken biryani and the fish puttu combo. They were both amazing! Tasty. Satisfying. Good portions. The various side dishes that come with both these orders were lip-smacking as well. I would absolutely recommend this place and will surely be visiting again to try some of the other things on their menu. The food was
This is Priya. My son and daughter came over to my place yesterday. My daughter ordered yesterday for the first time and Yummiest food I have tasted in a very long time. We all enjoyed it very much. Would definitely recommend it to our family and friends Vegetarian options: Veggie kothu, egg kothu, panoramic, rasam and paneer
Nice Indian cuisine. Bamboo chicken Biriyani was very flavourful, the spicy lobster was great. The veg fried rice, calamari and panner pakora was good. Unfortunately, service could of been better.Food: 3/5
Super delicious tamil food. Canada is a haven for Srilankan tamil food. I would highly recommend the delicious food here. There are so many varieties, and the taste is spot on. Top picks would be appam, briyani, chilli chicken, rotti with vanni mutton curry.Food: 5/5
Been going here for years because they had the best garlic naan, the prices were average, and people are friendly. Last time I went the garlic naan was very dry and crunchy, the portion was bigger, but it was the worst naan I ever had. The prices increased a lot compared to other places, $8.40 for a mango shake? Will not go back again, the people are still nice, but the food quality for the price is not worth it anymore.
My friends and I went from Mississauga to Scarborough to try this food and it was amazing and worth our time. I tried Puttu for the first time ever and it was awesome! Great ambiance and even greater taste! Must try.Food: 5/5
Such a wonderful place to get amazing South Indian/Tamil food. Star of the show was without a doubt the Masala dosa. Cannot recommend this enough! Super crispy and all round perfection. The kothu roti on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment— too runny/too much curry and too spicy too compared to everything else. Also ordered the puttu with fried fish. Only came with one piece while I believe the menu said two pieces. The egg with herbs was perfect! Would revisit again but wouldn’t reorder the kothu roti personally.
A classy place for Sri Lankan Tamil dining experience with a diverse menu from surrounding regions. Tried the fried snapper as well as the Kerala style fish baked in banana leaf. Preferred the latter as it had a little more kick. Great food and service.Food: 4/5
I really enjoyed eating here with traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. The chicken 65 was exceptionally delicious, especially when paired with their spicy mustard sauce. The biryani was also a standout dish, and the rice alone had an incredible flavor. The only downside was their kothu roti, which had a wet and soggy texture instead of being dry, as it should be. This affected the taste for me, but overall it was still a good meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and enjoyable, and the servers were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
It was my first time in a Sri Lankan restaurant and we ordered so many different dishes so I could try. Apparently the food was amazing, the only problem was that we asked them to serve it with the lowest level of spice but still it was even spicy for my Sri Lankan fiancé, and I could not eat. They had a cute way of serving the bamboo biryani. I loved the hoppers the most. Staff were lovely, both the lady that was taking care of us and the gentleman who kept checking on us, I think his name was Subhash so sorry if it’s not correct
