Was stay at the hotel that it’s on top off, was super worth it because there’s always a line at night. Drinks are pricey but they play good throw back/country music. People are dancing and it’s very lively. Good bartendersFood: 5/5
5 stars just for the pool and the slushie drinks! This spot is a good party time. If you can get in on a day that isn't too busy it's perfect. You and your friends can lounge and have some great drinks. The tacos were good. I have to come back and try the rest of the menu at the cart. But I would absolutely come back.Food: 5/5
Very expensive drinks for what you get, plastic cups, okay service. Wonderful decor and atmosphere with Los Angeles views in all directions.Service: 4/5
Super cool desert Themed rooftop bar/ Party spot. Girlfriend and I attended the weekly line dancing and country karaoke night last night Every Wednesday . It was a lot of fun and the drinks were good. Also, good views of Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills. Check it out i would recommend.Service: 5/5
To enter you walk in through a nondescript side door and take an elevator up to a large, gorgeous open air balcony with an adjoining lounge area. When I got there, all the cash register computer systems were down. We waited for an hour and the bartenders were trying not to make eye contact. It wasn’t their fault that systems were down but a manager should have acknowledged the patrons and offered apologies/solutions. One bartender I think named Chase was kind enough to take an imprint of my card and allowed me to order a couple drinks. But not the rest of my party. We were a group of 13 ladies celebrating a bday—all dressed up in cowboy boots and western wear. Eventually one of the staff members told us that they don’t know if the systems would be back online that night. Apparently this happened a few days before and they never got back to service. So we went to Mama Shelter near by. One of the promoters/staff took our phone number and said they’d let us know if they could serve again. Mama Shelter was so much fun! At some point the staff member told us to come back, so we did. There was a line at the door but we were told to go to the front. This is where things went badly. The two door people were very rude. Insulting our outfits it was western themed and ignoring the fact that we were told to come back. Half of our group got in line. And even when we reached the door—the woman manning the door refused to acknowledge us and began making derogatory comments. Eventually the staff member who told us to come back, came down and told them to let us in. As we walked passed the door person, she sarcastically said, “Nice hat…” to a friend wearing a cowboy hat. And then proceeded to make fun of us for line dancing. We weren’t even inside yet. And when we got up to the bar—they weren’t even at half capacity. They were holding us at the door for no reason. Just to be awful. I think she and the other door person think that running a door at a Hollywood spot entitles you to be a jerk and gives you some sort of superiority. They had no sense of hospitality. It’s no wonder people think terribly of the Hollywood scene. Avoid this place if the two people in the pics attached to this review are at the door.
I usually only go here for the line dancing classes on Wednesday nights. It's a fun class, the instructors are talented, and it's free. The last few times I've been here have been awful. The last time I was there, the female, brunette manager glared at me and stood at the entrance to dissuade me from going in. She was posted by the end of the bar. Once I made my way to the bar, I was ignored by the Caucasian, petite, blonde bartender. Later, I was also ignored by the Hispanic, male bartender. Both of them served guests around me. I did not buy a drink there that night and left before staying longer than an hour. The times I've been here before that night, I've been aggressively pursued by strange men at the bar and anywhere I seemed to walk on the roof. The tall, male, brunette manager who wears a cowboy hat took at least one photo of me. Several other guests photographed me as well. The food is good, I'll say that. They have a pop up that serves some food from their restaurant downstairs. Needless to say, I can find line dancing classes elsewhere. And great Mexican food is all over this town. I will not be back here again. Parking: There are sometimes spots on Selma, but I've had to walk several blocks to and from here. Once, after they closed. Don't risk it.
Best rooftop in all of Hollywood to watch the sunset. Drinks are a bit pricey and they don’t serve food sometimes a taco cart sets up on weekend evenings, but I go up here often for a drink or two and just watch the sunset then hit up some of the other bars nearby.
This place has the best disco "ball" I've ever seen and the best set up in the area, hands down. It's so close to Hollywood but also hidden away enough that it's not crazy packed. I've only seen a small line on weekends. Drinks are decent, only because it depends on who makes your drink. On the same night I got two of the same drinks and one was whatever while the other one was actually really good. Different bartenders. Still, they have live music after 11 and good music selection overall.
Double check your bill! I ordered a few rounds of the exact same drinks and each round the prices were completely different. It varied to up double the price as before. Besides that we got into a very dangerous situation. I can only warn every girl!Food: 1/5
Great place to have fun, drinks, dancing etc. I was there last night with friends, we had fun and will come back for more fun in the near future.
