At Akbar Palace, We Treat You Like Royalty.

Akbar Palace offers Indian fine dining for lunch, dinner and brunch on the Saturdays. We’re best known for our beautiful lunch buffet and for using the best ingredients available. We offer many vegetarian options. Enjoy classic Indian dishes like Samosas, Tikka Masala or Vindaloo, Channa, Kofta Curry, Lamb Bhuna, Pullau, Kebabs and more. We also offer South Indian specialty dishes like Idli and Uttapam. Make sure to save room for Kheer, Gulab Jamun or Mango Ice Cream. Our full bar is stocked with great wines, beers and liquors.

Akbar Palace also offers catering for any event all over Maryland, Delaware, South Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. We can also host events for up to 120 people, including weddings, right in our beautiful restaurant.

Good place we order Everytime lamb chops as our favorite. Remember to mention as well done otherwise you will end up with half cooked. Other stuff ok you can wnjoy. Keema Nan are good with any curry non veg curries. We never tried veggies here as of now. Higly recommend for lam chops. Other things you can try
The food here is delicious! The service is great! If I could give them 10 stars I would.. Try the shrimp appetizer the next time you're here, it's a tasty dish..
This place is wonderful, the staff has always been super friendly and engaging and the food is great. Went in for carryout on Valentine's day and they were extra friendly and even gave me a single beautiful rose as a "special" with my order. I love the Lamb Korma most.
Caution Grouponers they do not specified that you must have two people or they won't accept it no matter what the total is. Besides the cashier/ wannabe owner or whatever he was proceeding to argue with me that it says one per person which I informed him one per person does not mean a minimum of two people specify what you mean in the fine print. Outside of that experience the food was great and the waiter I had was good as well.
There are not too many people , only reason it could be it is not located in great spot but food is perfect. Lamb can be cooked more. If you still do not visit tjis spot, do it then thank me
The food is so good here. I ALWAYS get their goat biryani - it's that good. My husband loves their Madras Chicken. Everything is so flavorful.
Not many selections of food for 10.60. Manager is so disrespectful don’t know how to talk to people .never will i waste my money here again .the manager going to come to my table and tell me I’m wasting food .do they realize I spend my money to get in here .you would have through it was free how he was coming to my table
Food was delicious and big portions for the price.
Excellent food and nice staff. They are very attentive and the food is delicious. Can't go wrong. I especially enjoy their Sunday brunch where there are many different dishes to try via well kept serving trays. I'll be be returning often.
Went last night and it was a great decision. My husband is from England and misses the curry from home. This was very good. The food was so filling, very flavorful, and the service was excellent. We never saw the bottom of our chia tea cup. The owner came over a swapped stories with my husband about Indian and England. Our dinners cost less than we expected so we tipped our awesome waiter a bit more than we planned. We will be back when we are in the area again. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Indian food or even those looking to try it for the first time. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the dishes.
