RUN!!!!!!! Month to month contract. Requested to be connected on the 19th of December and had to pay in full, not pro rata like your competitors. Had to drive to your offices to explain how instant payments work. Back home, I called your offices and were told that the router that you supplied is faulty and had to bring it in. Trip # 2, bring router to be tested, it was tested and found to be in order. Still couldn't use your service. After 100s of call I decided to give up. I needed to be refunded my R499 and was told to return your router if I wanted a refund. Trip # 3, return router and was assured that I would be refunded. Till today, no refund. Small Claims Court action has been filed. Great Service? You be the judge.
123Net have the rudest people ever working for them. The internet is really good but the staff are so extremely rude. I have referred people to them because of their good price and overall good internet speed etc, but i always tell the people, dont phone them because the incredibly rude staff members will put you off completely. If you like being treated like an incompetent person and if you like it that staff speak to you like garbage, then 123Net is the place to go to. They give a new meaning to the term "being treated like a dog". Fantastic internet, TERRIBLE RUDE RUDE RUDE staff.
I can outline in this email that the service provided was fantastic. I have no reason to complain at all. The guys that came out to my address were nothing but friendly and super professional. The router I purchased is fantastic I work from home and dose exactly what I need it to. As for the broadband speed, well in short "mind blowing" to say the least. Ran a speed test and had to call to make sure I was on the right package as I got way more than expected. : Long short of it is, I look forward to having a long relationship with this company. I have been online from the days of dial up and 123NET is by far the best. Thank you so much and I look forward to referring this ISP to as many of my family and friends as I can.
Good day to you I must say firstly EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! I am extremely satisfied with the product and the team that was present at my place yesterday 01/03/2022. Keep up the good work!! Everything has been butter smooth! From communication to advise and Installation! Keep up the professionalism and I can see 123net overtaking many other providers! Thanks so much and I am officially online in the fastest time I know ever possible,Very happy so far with my experience. Thumbs up to the team ! That Includes every person that made it happen ie. The team leader present with 2 other guys from the team who also assisted as well as Atishay from the office. Your company deserves the recognition. Proud customer of 123net.
Worst customer service experience. Last 3 weeks there has been no stop issues in my area but when you call the call center there is zero help or knowledge of what the hell is going on. I work from home and I make sure every single time I receive a invoice I pay it same day and 123 Net has this all on record but the as@#$le on the phone say " Okay how can we help you" really the best thing for all 123 Net uses is to move over to another company that has proper functionality.
Really unhappy! 2 weeks ago I received a notice that my internet service was disabled due to payment issues, and that I had 14 days to make a payment until it got suspended! This was an error on your side because days prior, I had made my monthly payment. I called your support desk who said “That’s strange, we can’t see any payment issues on our side. Ignore the message.” So I did! Now, 2 weeks later, my internet has been suspended! I was told at 8:30 that it would be fixed within 15 minutes, and over an hour and a half later, I am still waiting for feedback!? I have made 12 calls in the past 1.5 hours with most of them being answered because every time I am transferred to a different department, the call drops or doesn’t get answered — and nobody bothers to phone me back!
My internet went down early evening yesterday and I tried throughout the night to contact 123Net to no avail - there's no after hours support available it seems? We were called back first thing in the morning with good news that a technician would come out ASAP. They were supposed to arrive at 11:15, so at 11:45 when nobody had arrived I phoned for a follow up. I was told "I'll call them the technicians to find out why and I'll give you feedback within the next 10 minutes." It's 30 minutes later and I'm still waiting for any feedback, and also for the technicians. It's quite a problem not having internet when you work remotely from home, and I'm unable to leave and go to a cafe with internet because I'm waiting for these technicians -- so I've had to buy data on my phone and hotspot my laptop to work which is costing me a small fortune! What's upsetting is that a few days ago technicians arrived at my gate saying, "We've received signals that your internet isn't working" which was kind of bizarre because it was working perfectly, and now two days later it mysteriously stops working and I have to pay for a call out and wait ages for said call out! We haven't experienced any other issues with 123Net, in fact the service is generally excellent, however this has been quite a stressful experience and I am extremely worried that if it isn't sorted out today that we'll have to wait until Monday - which is far too long for someone who works round the clock remotely, including weekends. Please can someone assist me urgently!
We were honestly better off with Telkom, they had bad service but provided the product. 123net is to be avoided. The only reason we got them is because the building has the connections etc, and Telkom doesn't have fibre here. 123net is a joke, no after hour help, their phone lines are horrible, basically a whisper. Our Internet is slow as anything despite our package, when we finally got them on the phone, the operator told me they could send someone to check the router for a R500 call out fee. Half the house no signal, I'm less than 12m away and my devices barely connect. Even as I type this review, I'm using my phone because I don't have a WiFi connection. July 2022 update: You're better off with telkom.
Angry and disappointed. After nervous days of down time and enquiring about but is going on we have dealt with arrogant customer care operators. Reaching the last straw, we have made our payment for the month of March and we had no wifi before and after 123 deducted their payment, we decided to cancel and go with Fibre, and we were disconnected and our request to rightfully be connected for the remainder of the month is being ignored. 123NET is this how you operate?.
