Very nice atmosphere restaurant upstairs and down stairs. Child friendly. Food big portions and good quality. Wheelchair friendly. Bathroom is neat and tidy and clean. Also a gift shop with nice different gifts. Vida Cafe for a quick stop and a take away and a shop for snacks.  Kid-friendliness: Kiddies chair to sit with parents and outside playpark.  Parking: Situated at the Caltex garage but if your a Engen person. Engen is just opposite the road.  Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access to restaurant at the bottom and bathroom facilities.

Wow wow wow. What a great lunch.  This burger was delicious.  A wonderful variety to choose from.  With prices being g reasonable for the great quality of food that you get.  As you enter the establishment, there is a lovely gift shop  Kid-friendliness: There menu caters for kids. With a play area outside.  But then you must sit in the downstairs portion of the restaurant.  Parking: Ampel parking with a Caltex that you can fill up.

Clean and comfortable venue with a great Karoo view from the windows. The place is airy and cool on an otherwise hot day. Service is efficient and friendly. Great food and drink options available. Had the Karoo curry with mash and it was very delicious. Prices are fair. Offers efficient takeaway service.Food: 5/5

Comprehensive menu. Decent food and well-priced. Excellent service from Nathan. Ample secure parking. Situated right next to Caltex garage. The shop downstairs is unfortunately overpriced.

This is a lovely place by the pond. The restaurant is on the second floor that gives a new few for the pond. I would def. Do and try the food again.Food: 4/5

Made the mistake of ordering a burger instead of lamb chops - cant mark down the review because of my own poor choices!  The burger patty was tasty but very much overcooked, the vibe however was festive and the staff are super friendly. From what I heard all the lamb dishes are amazing.  The toilets could do with a little cleaning and sprucing up.  Next time I pass through this way I will definitely have the chops

Just dropped in for a coffee. They have a famous brand inside and the cuppocinos was served with a big Karoo smile!!! There are a lotbod local products ro buy for gifts  etc... lots of leather foods as well

Not a bad little spot for a meal when traveling through Beaufort.  Phone ahead and try get a spot by the window, overlooking the dam.  Obviously, their speciality is lamb ;

Tried this place out as we wanted to have real karoo lamb chops. Happened to be owned by same family who owns Cape Karoo guesthouse where we stayed. It's at the Caltex garage as 1 heads out of Beaufort West towards Joburg  It's a pretty simple place up the stairs past the shop and Vida e Caffe  The chops were very nice and it was a healthy portion, it is rather pricey though. It was our treat while on holiday

Best food and coffee in Beaufort West. Amazing service and meal here today- wow- 5 stars. Avoid the really bad food at wimpy next door.
