49 on Cherry B&B

What a wonderful place to stay! Great location! The suites were very spacious and spotlessly clean with immaculate attention to detail. Being able to self cater in the well equipped kitchen was a real bonus. The hosts, Lynne and Gary, were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. They made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The gardens and pool area were beautiful and very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend 49 On Cherry and already have plans to return in the near future.

Lynne and Gary are truly the most wonderful hosts. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and friendliness during our stay. Going through the stress of some urgent house renovations, they were absolutely fantastic in helping us in our time of need. In no time at all their accomodation felt like home and we will forever be grateful for everything they did for us during this time. We highly recommend their guesthouse and will definitely be back should the need arise.

It was a last minute decision to travel to JHB and a very last one to arrange accommodation. Gary and Lynne are fantastic hosts! I only stayed for one night and wish it was longer. The unit was spotless and big enough for my family even though I was traveling alone. They provided a “help yourself” breakfast which consisted of toast, eggs, coffee, three different types of cereals, fruit and juice. I will definitely stay here again and hopefully next time with my family.

This guesthouse is nothing short of perfect! The hosts, Lynn and Gary, make you feel right at home from the second you enter. We had a fantastic one night stay at 49 on Cherry Guesthouse. The rooms were excellent: spacious, with good facilities, and a very generous breakfast provided. A wonderful property and welcoming host!. My room was extremely clean and spacious - with a well- equipped kitchen, patio area looking out at the main garden/pool area, and a bed that felt like heaven amplified by the access to DSTV/Netflix. I highly recommend this hidden gem - for work or leisure.Rooms: 5/5

Gary and Lynne were able to provide me with accommodation at short notice for my quick trip to South Africa. Lynne made me feel so at home during my short stay. Such a pleasure to make new friends like this who make you feel like family. Nearby activities: 49 on Cherry is centrally located so that I could travel easily to Cresta, Olivedale or Sandton. Noteworthy details: Location boasts beautiful gardens with an inviting pool and gazebo to have one's morning drink while watching birds frolic in the trees. 49 on Cherry has gas heated water supply and an inverter to ensure guests are minimally impacted by loadshedding
