88MPH makes investments in early stage mobile-web companies targeting the African market; focusing purely on ideas with potential to scale across Africa.
Besides funding, startups have immediate reach to Africa’s biggest growth markets via Startup Garage Nairobi and Startup Garage Cape Town, as well as agreements with 7 other hubs across Africa.
In addition to investing, we run a three month intensive accelerator programme where the startups will be guided through the process of building, launching & selling their products.
We make investments in batches of 8-15 startups, enabling them to learn from each other and make use of our extensive network of business and tech professionals as well as dedicated startup mentors.
We fund teams that are committed and driven, who have the ability to execute, and demonstrate superior technical skills.
