What an excellent store! If you need it, they'll most likely have it. From pre-packaged foods on the shelf to fresh produce... But what took me by surprise was the Mutri selection. Blew my socks right off!
Well for an Indian family shopping this store has everything which is of good quality and reasonably priced. The shop is a bit congested with lots of goods. There is a lack of attention, should someone needs to find out something. The vegetables and fruit section should be well ventilated by air conditioning. Staff should have same dress code and identification. On the whole I enjoyed my shopping here.
Customer service is nonexistent and the attitude of the employees and management is deplorable. I believe that the residents of the area shop there purely because of convenience and no other reason. If someone were to open a store offering the same goods, we would see the last of this despicable establishment and one other thing, clean the store!
Indian Groceries Indian veggies Best in Midrand
Really the shop to go for some tasty Indian snacks. They also have a good variety of spices veggies, rotis and other staple food for Indian cuisine. They have a good selection for Pooja materials. Highly recommend Aandal food !
Stopped at Aandals after work, I see they employed some youngsters... which is good. Teach them responsibility and introduce them to the working life. All good and well, but the owner has no respect for those kids at all! If they make a mistake there's a manner in which it should be addressed. No one is perfect and the way she addressed the situation was uncouth and primitive. It is not acceptable to publicly humiliate an employee. Being an Indian I am ashamed of my fellow Indians. They play prayer songs in the shop as if it's a temple but does not value a person. Highly disappointed!
Lovely Indian vegetables. Good place to get spice. Clean, neat and good store
Won't go back due to a rude owner who has no problem with shouting at customers who frequented the shop every week from the time they opened their doors. There are many alternatives for fruit and veg in Midrand. We don't need to go to a spot where arrogant owners treat their staff like dirt. We called her out on this and were practically kicked out.
Always fresh indian veggies and good quality, worth driving from anywhere in JHB
You can get every Indian groceries and vegetable you need. The owner is very friendly and she will assist you when needed.
