"Heavens Kitchen has been in operation for just over 15 years. We were initially based in Vorna Valley and now we have moved to Kyalami Downs Shopping Centre. We pride ourselves in providing all our customers with excellent service with a homestyle feel to it. Our Durban style curries are a crowd favourite and we are well renowned for our bunny chows- with the mutton bunny chow being a favourite amongst our customers. Our menu has a wide variety of excellent meals for all different tastes. You need to give us a try and you wont regret it. Heavens Kitchen- Food so good it has been touched by an Angel"

It used to be one of my favourite country joints because it was hotter than most places which sadly isn't the case anymore. Unfavorable cuts of meat and not the greatest tasting there was a slight bitterness to it means it's fallen out of favour. Not bad, but not my favourite curry/bunny restaurant in the area. On a positive note, the samoosas are nothing short of amazing. Vegetarian options: Plentiful
They never cease to amaze. Home away from home, this is home to the best bunny in Jhb, no one comes close. Best to eat there though. Their service is outstanding. You are always greeted with a smile and they have a genuine relationship with all their customers. When you arrive, they make you feel like family. Visit them, Shop 12 Kyalami Downs shopping Centre, corner of R55 Pitts ave and, Kyalami Blvd, Kyalami Park.
Probably one of the best mutton bunny’s I have ever had… and at R115 probably the most expensive one as well. On balance, I would say it was worth it. Decor and ambiance is not really anything to write home about, but if good food is what you’re after, this is not a bad choice.
The Veg Briyani was really quite spectacular. The portions are big enough to be shared or alternatively serves as lunch and supper. They have recently relocated and I have to commend them on the shop fitting...it has been done in a manner that is really tasteful and modern. The shopping complex is currently under construction but I expect the addition of a Spar and other well know stores will make this centre quite a desirable lunch time stop. The ladies behind the counter were really friendly. I will definately be back soon.
Love the food here. It's not as spicy as it used to be but the food is still delicious. Portion sizes are generous and you will not go wrong with the samoosas. The samoosas are available with cheese and sweetcorn, potato, fish, mutton and beef fillings. The owners are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Heaven's Kitchen and will continue to shop here. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options. This is usually sugar beans and broad beans curries and on occasion veg briyani
Poor service and overpriced, awfully cooked food in a bland service area. Raw fries, dry and under seasoned chicken breast, cheap burger buns and zero presentation. Warm cool drink glasses… food arrived in stages for a party of three. Literally a disgrace.
The lamb curry toasted sandwich was ridiculously divine. The lamb burger outrageous and bold.....the best I have ever tasted. Top notch service and quality.Food: 5/5
Good food - equal to the standards of the old venue. One of the few places to do a good lamb burger. Samoosas and sojee are tasty as well. Breyani is good, but they don't seem to cook much as this sells out quick. Was only disappointed with a toasted mutton curry sandwich that I ordered on Mr D. I was given white bread instead of brown and there was so much gravy in the sandwich that it wasn't possible to actually eat as a sandwich - I had to eat it like curry and bread. Can be a bit of a wait at times.
We stopped eating at Heaven's like 7 years ago due to quality. We tried it again 7 years later and it's one of the worse curries ever eaten. Bland with water and oil. This is not a curry.
Tasty food. I had been when I was not consuming meat for a prayer, but will definitely give them a try again to see what their meat options are like.
