Great professional service from the staff. They will go the extra mile to help you, and if they don't have it and can get it, they will. Nicely organised front shop with a good amount of choices when it comes to tools and consumables for your car.
10/10 would not recommend. Exactly a week after having had my car serviced at this location, I notice that my engine is over-heating. Imagine my shock when checking the engine and seeing that there is barely any engine cooler or water. As my fuel tank was at a reasonable amount, I had not stopped at any garages to fill up or have my water and oil checked. I would assume that when entrusting my car to a service garage that part of the service would be a basic check and re-fill of water, oil and coolant. At the very least informing the customer that they need replenishing. Not to mention the attitude of some of the staff when I brought to their attention a very valid grievance. Upon informing me that I had gotten the incorrect parts for the car's service, I gave the go ahead for them to procure the necessary parts and proceed with service, granted that I would promptly provide an invoice for the first set of parts in order to get a refund. Would it not make sense to acquire parts within the same price range of the ones originally provided or at the very least inform me in advance if anything was going to cost more??? Now I am forced to fork out more money that I had initially budgeted in order to fit your bill. Really? And let me tell you now it matters not whether that bill was R1 or R1000 over the original cost. Inform the customer and ensure that they understand the process!! Furthermore!! Upon my return to the garage to check if I had possibly misplaced my invoice in the car which until now is a mystery as to how a slip I was 180% sure I had left in the car could not be located, I was able to walk right into the garage and open the car without a single person stopping me to ensure that I was the owner of the car. Sure, maybe miraculously every single person in the workshop had seen me earlier and was certain I was the owner. But truly, what are the odds? And regardless, why would not a single person out of roughly 30 people be inclined to just make sure? Because god forbid I actually wasn't the owner and something went missing. Honestly a terrible experience and personally, I will not be returning. Of course one individual not returning would not affect the running of your business because I'm plenty sure you have a significant clientele. But the experience I had just left a completely sour taste in my mouth and personally, not for me.
Super helpful staff, wide range of products. Have not been disappointed thus far. Absolutely plan on making this my go to Midas.
I'm actually speechless!!!! The best service I've ever received from a spares store, especially the best midas store ever. If im not mistaken it was brian the guy in the corner who dealt with me today. Can't remember the name.Excellent customer service from him. Got me the parts i wanted honda civic control arms, tierod ends etc and was very professional. If your could please inform brian about this, all credit goes to him. Definitely coming back for a visit!! Your the best midas store for sure.
At 10min to closing I was only mildly hopeful of getting what I needed, desperately needed. The staff are always friendly and ready to assist. No exception, not even moments before the end of the business day. Looking for auto parts, accessories, tools and consumables? Here you will find it! Need fishing equipment? Or outdoor gear? How about a soldering iron & flux? Maybe a SnappySheff induction etc. supplier? A gift for the DIY attemptionado? Or maybe a ball-peen hammer + boddy filler + spray paint + advice = ABE Middas is the only place to consider. But seriously, I recommend this place fully and thank you for being a gold standard for customer service, stocking a fantastic selection of products, trading as late as you do as often as you do and pricing that never feels excessive or greedy. Just so very awesomely good!
Convenient hours and ample parking. The front staff are very friendly and helpful. The counter staff isn't as eager and dedicated as I would've liked though. Pricing is good though and parts availability is good.
The fact that they opened till 20:00 on a Sunday, already scored them a few brownie points in my books. But the service i recieved from each one of them today, were top class, no doubt. From the phone call i made earlier the day to confirm stock in hand, right up to the cashier in store, the guy at the door, and the salesman on the floor. Thank you guys. Very good and friendly service. But i have to give a special thanks to Hennie or Henkynot sure about his name. He reali went out his way helping us. He even got right underneath the car to remove the old parts that even got stuck, to replace with the new ones. The service i recieved from him was totaly excellent. Great Guys!!!! A few years after this review and im still impressed with the service i recieve from the ABE Mida's employees. Tonight i needed help with setting of my headlights aswell as a few products from the shop.It was already past six and knowing all other shops are closed already, i head for ABE Midas. And at no surprise they were opened till 21:00 on a Wednesday. well.., actually every day except Sunday's when they closed at 20:00. And again one of their employees helped me outside the building untill it was almost time to close. The service i recieve from the employees is reali something extraordinary. Keep it up guys. 5star service.
Would like to thank the staff for the friendly service that was given to me. Ferric was very helpfull thanks to him. Will shop again if I need car spares.
