Abloom Lodge and Spa

For a romantic break away, I cannot recommend Abloom Bush Lodge enough. Great location, and the food prepared and cooked by the owner Lowie is truly amazing. Thank you Lowie and Maria & Sandra who looked after us. We shall definitely be back again. Food & drinks: The food was outstanding, on a par with fine dining

What a lovely stay at Abloom. The owner Louis offers more than just a lodge. We had spa treatments and 2 lunches which was excellent. Something out of the ordinary. Most romantic. Exceeded our expectations.Rooms: 5/5

What a lovely stay at Abloom lodge. The lodge is beautifully located and very private. We felt like we were truly on our own with our private patio and bushveld view. I do wish the lodge had mentioned that the road leading up to it was not suited to low profile cars.. while possible to traverse, we had a few tense moments along the rocky dirt road to the lodge. The executive villa was absolutely beautiful. The design and decor is thought out, just rustic enough.. while remaining luxurious and comfortable. The heated private pool was a highlight of the trip. The ceiling fan provided some welcome coolness after the heat of the pool. Free WiFi is provided, which is always great. The food at Abloom was truly superb. Each meal arrived at our suite to be eaten in the comfort of our own patio. Each dish was like a plated artwork and all meals were delicious taste sensations that had us Googling “gastronomy”. We just wished there had been an additional course or two as the portions were quite small, and didn’t want the meals to end. We really enjoyed the hot stone massage which helped us to truly relax. All the staff were very helpful. All in all, a truly wonderful stay and just the romantic getaway we needed. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

Lowie is an absolute gem of a host. We had a freak bike accident on arrival & unfortunately we were only able to stay 1 night & he tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible until help arrived. Will definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful, tranquil lodge again.

Lowie and his staff was the most friendly and accomedating hosts. The stay in such romantic place. It feels like your own private kingdom as you are treated like kings and queens. The food was exquisite and out of this world with your own personalized menu. With spa treatments at your own room, you couldn't be more spoiled and relaxed thanks ladies . This place will rekindle the fire in your relationship. Thanks for the wonderful and memorable weekend.

Great getaway with all the amenities you can imagine. We did self catering as we booked last minute but i can only imagine it to get better with food included. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5

Very private and nice individual chalet/lodge, thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the treatments. Practicalities need lots more thought at that price however; there was no filtered or bottled water, a single tiny jug of milk, instant coffee and some sort of service bell or something to attract attention to get service is required. Food was fair but then I am comparing against some top end places I had recently visited so was not bowled over.
