Absa Newton Park

I really believe that this Absa branch is the best in Africa. It is well managed the staff are wonderful kind and respectful. The branch is extremely well set out. The service is out of this world. I think this management needs to be applauded and Absa can learn a lot from the management and staff of this branch. WE'LL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF OF THIS BRANCH. Service excellence award.

The staff here are so rude and have absolutely no people skills. They are more interested in going on lunch or tea breaks and when asked for assistance at the online banking, I was told she doesn't have time for this, there are other people to serve. Unbelievable!!!

Staff was very helpful in a difficult situation I could not believe that they could not use the phone to make phone calls even if you a client I have been a client with absa ever since they formed absa and just to go get brushed off and said that they're not allowed to make business calls I'm in the business call is important and my business was important to go to absa today the lady tried to rectify abscess neck of the customers to no avail to me I was very disappointed in the action of the staff she totally refused to use the phone and said the phone was just for internal use which I did not believe because minute later while I was still sitting there one of the staff members made a call to a husband so my experience at absa was not so great as my experience at first national just sell just down the road where they totally help me and try to phone where I needed to phone and friendly helpful in train to get the elderly in first and everyone understood get the understood to get a seat to sit

This is a total disgrace that clients visiting the branch must stand in the street waiting to get a turn to enter. ABSA as NO regard for old people. There is no chair to sit anywhere not even queuing for tellers.

Friendly staff but only 2 tellers. Since the introduction of a ticket system the service has extremely slow. Expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be assisted. :-

Very poor service. 1 General Queries teller to assist many people AND super slow.

Had to wait in the customer que for 45 minutes and left because I was still not helped. Only one booth open

Why is this branch closing at 11.00h on a Saturday. it not customer friendly at all.

So sloooow been here 2 days trying to open an account still trying to see a consultant

Extremely slow with only one teller......very frustrating
