My inverter stopped charging my battery after 3 months of owning it. I checked the system in on the 27th of March at ACDC express, Not once in over a month did they let me know what was going on or provide feedback of any kind. Candice and Steven should go for customer service training. After fighting the machine was swapped out but didn't work out of the box. I had to go back again and decided to take it to Steven, he repaired it with the biggest of attitude while I waited. He then replaced a fuse which took over an hour. He has the worst attitude I have experienced in my life. These photos show how many of their products need repair at the moment. I would not advise anybody to buy from them

After excellent service on a few occasions I had the frustration of being supplied the wrong product despite being very specific about my requirement. On calling to try and remedy the situation I wasted 30 minutes on the phone because it's a central switchboard and nobody works in the Richmond store the day before a public holiday or so it would seem as I got transferred 5 or sometimes and line dropped 3 times. Doesn't help getting fancy and you miss out on the little things like customer service. UPDATE : After being left very disappointed I managed to get hold of Gary the store manager and what a pleasant experience. Fortunately they were open on the public holiday and he was very helpful in sorting out the problem.

Based on my experience visiting multiple branches of ACDC Dynamics, it seems that the company is well-stocked and offers a wide range of electrical products. Additionally, the staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, which enhances the overall shopping experience. However, the pricing system of ACDC Dynamics is a major drawback. The prices seem to be inflated, with the shelf edge label price marked up significantly higher than what you would expect to pay at other stores. While the company does offer discounts, it appears that these discounts merely bring the prices down to what you could have paid elsewhere. This pricing strategy is confusing and time-consuming for customers who have to queue up and engage with a salesperson to receive the discount. In summary, ACDC Dynamics offers a good selection of electrical products, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. However, the pricing strategy may deter customers who are looking for fair and transparent pricing without the need for bargaining

Worst ever customer service ! Quick to take your cash and sell expensive products that don't last!! When the substandard product becomes faulty you get told there is a 3week backlog before a technician can even have a look at it!! I've been waiting over a month now.. no feedback no response !! Their warranty seems to be a scam !! Supporting this useless company was a big mistake!!

I have recently relocated from Durban to Cape Town 4 months ago. I was looking for a solar with a light on and for charging my phone and received excellent service with a smile from the manager Gary who was amazing. He advised me on purchasing the correct one that would suit me. I bought 2. I went away happy as Larry. Thanks Gary for taking the time to explain how it works. You are a true asset to the company. Thanks for going the extra mile for customers like me and making me happy. Aphendulwe who attended to my payment at checkout was wonderful. She was friendly, quick and efficient. I will definitely be going back to this wonderful store.

bad customer service from the staff. paarden eiland branch i have visited has the same attitude. no sales person on the floor to give accurate assistance. will not refer them,will support the smaller wholesalers and get better service

Bad service. Bought 2 devices for 12k which both stopped working 4 months from purchase. Took in for repairs and they said 2 - 3 weeks for repairs. 4 weeks later still waiting and impossible to reach repairs department on the phone I mailed the manager. No response.... at the end I had to drive 30km back to the store just to get a response. 7 weeks later I get both devices back and after I was assured by the lady in repair side that everything is working 100% one of the devices still not working. This store will never see myself nor anyone in my family again.

Worst place ever to go for anything, beautiful store but no service, 4 people behind the counter and took them 40min to help 2 customers they clearly do not know what they are doing. No support to counter staff from "upstairs", asked a technical question regarding Inverter and battery and there was no answer. If we could give a zero rating it will definitely be for this store.

Sales staff not very keen to help. Was looking for solar lights 40w ip65 and the guy behind the sales counter was to lazy to have a look in the store room if they had stock. There was no lights on the retail floor. His words " we dont have stock and I am not going to look." I walked out. Wont be going back and will inform everyone i know not to shop at ACDC Richwood

Waited for 3 hours just to get 2x 10mm 100 meters flex cable and 1 x 12 DB. I wil recomend to take food and water with when visiting ACDC Richmontpark. They have all the time in the world and do not realy care about customers waiting for 3 Hours to get the stock pulled from the warehouse. This is not the 1ste time I have waited more then a hour. I am fed up with the slow service and unprofesional. I wil rather go to Voltex Epping in the future.
