What a huge, massive and spacious feeling version of a builders warehouse. Never been to this one before, but well worth the drive from PTA......HOWEVER.... What I did not like, which certainly reduced a possible 5 star rating to 4, is the fact that I was literally accosted as I entered the store, by a very enthusiastic "greeter" who firstly asked me what cctv camera I was going to buy for him and then telling me he was sure I had arrived in a "big Ranger 4x4", which is not the case. I was not impressed by his approach at all. I feel this store should train the Greeters as to what is and is not appropriate when a greeting a client at the door or anywhere else in the store.
Absolutely disgusting customer service. My father bought 2 light bulbs in the sale tent for R89 yesterday. We arrived today to buy 2 more and were told they are now full price and no longer on special even though they were in the sale bin still. We were told it was yesterday's price.The manager treated us like trash and we will never be back again. You have lost very loyal customers
Hate coming here. I am a contractor and find the following.... *Staff are beyond unfriendly. *Staff have no manners, etiquette or curtesy. *Staff do not know the products. *Car guards hound you and give attitude when you can't tip them. *Prices are higher then other shops. *Online deals do not work for a contractor as we want to purchase now not wait 3 days. Time is money - there are cheaper prices through other online delivery agents. Overall, if petrol was cheaper I would rather go to 10 shops then 1 shop and deal with the above.
Service are no where to be found. Had to ask 7 people for advice and only last one was able to assist me. The lady at the till was so unfriendly its sad. Hope you guys cheer the staff up!
I love this Builders, but they do need to keep enough stock. I have been battling to find stock for my chalk paint furniture projects. And also, look at being a Tjoko distributor, if that is allowed. Try also stocking cheaper staple guns. Otherwise, I am pleased and this is my go to hardware.
Good range of product but as in this group i am finding goods expensive. Good Service if you approach a staff member. This branch seems you need to wait a while in a queue at tills needs 1 extra cashier
What can I say? Builders is my kryptonite. I can't help but spend money. I had to go buy paint & I must say, the staff at the paint counter were incredible. So helpful, so knowledgeable & were just a pleasure to deal with.
Stunning service at least this store has staff that know the products and are so helpful and efficient. Found all the stuff I needed in.no time
Big store for building materials and finishes with a large selection of items. I love the plant and garden section.
A lot of missing price labels and unfriendly unhelpful staff shuffling lazily between shelves taking forever to check a price mumbling with other staff. Left my shopping went to Makro. Come on Builders, how hard is it to label your shelves with prices, you’d be surprised how much business you are losing
