Admiralty Bed & Breakfast

We had an absolutely amazing stay here and cannot wait to come back. Nothing was too much for Mary, Karlien and their staff and they were well-prepared to assist with any request we had. Super efficient too. Knowledgable of the area and while we didn’t need it, they had tips on all the good tourist activities. Rooms: The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. Careful attention was even given to our comfort when the weather turned cold and all the staff were just great. The house smelled of freshly baked bread and cupcakes each day. Just heavenly. Safety: The neighbourhood is very safe. The house gate was only accessible with a key and we never once felt unsafe. Noteworthy details: A pedal boat was great to use to discover the vlei. The deck at the back, on the water, offered a relaxing and serene experience.

Unwelcoming from the beginning, could not even give us a bottle of water. Accused us being too many people even though in the booking it clearly said 4 adults and 2 kids the one kid was a baby. Gave off racist vibes and the staff was unapproachable as the owner didn't see us "fit" to serve. Accused us of many harsh words in previous reviews. The least you can do is be a good host. Overall nice spot just the people are not accepting to those who are different from them. Only stayed 1 night and left the next day , they weren't willing to help at all

Amazing location but the owner is extremely racist and denys his actions by arguing with his guests. Extremely unprofessional.Rooms: 1/5

The host and staff were hostile towards us. They didn’t have water and they told us to drink from the bathroom. Utterly unacceptable and disrespectful. They false accuse their customers and argue instead of accepting any type of mistake. Kindly take a look on ethics and values of dealing with all type of people not only your own.Rooms: 2/5

Had an amazing experience from the moment I checked in to the very last day of my stay. Nearby activities: Few extra mural activities in the vicinity were most exciting for me.

No TV although we advised the owners the 1st day we arrived of it not working . Wifi was virtually non existantRooms: 2/5

Beautiful B&B in a beautiful location. Loved the view of the lake from my room. Unfortunately couldn't use the rafts to explore because of the strong winds. Very impressed by the freshly baked bread and muffins every morning for breakfast and the warm attitude from the host and his son. Definitely would like to go back there someday. Highly recommended!

Exceptional et amazing stay with a very nice welcome from John , a full breakfast with choices of quality dishes . Very nice place and especially quiet and secure I highly recommend this place Patrick from France 20/08/2022
