This morning’s flight experience looking over Sandton and surrounding areas, as a passenger, was surprisingly exhilarating. It goes without saying, Abdul’s patience, patience and teachings were amazing. Thank you for this opportunity to gift my best friend his first flying experience. It was a beautiful, beautiful experience - one we would definitely want to do again.
Had an extremely great experience. From the online introductory class, pre flight inspection, and the flight experience itself. One thing that stood out for me is that the instructor guides you through the critical stages of the flight, from taking off to maintaining altitude and power etc. For those fascinated by aviation, I’d definitely recommend African skyline. As for me I’m definitely doing this again!
I had the time of my life while flying an aeroplane for the first time. I can't thank African Skyline enough for making my dream come true. Everything was so great, the flight, flight inspection and the experience. Got my video today, after a month, they charged us R200 for a video for which I can't even get a go pro on rent. The video was so nicely edited. I got my voucher from hyperli and if you are a university student you also get additional 14% discount on hyperli. I highly suggest the introductory flight for all aeroplane enthusiasts like myself.
Abdul made the whole experience a far less frightening experience, he gives you control of the plane with clear instructions and gently stays next to the controls to help. We were presently surprised to find we could take a passenger which the kids loved, which made the whole experience so much more memorable. All in it was a very memorable day. However 5 months after and still not received all the items purchased after 4 months finally got hold of him and arranged to collect but on arrival he only had the footage for 1 of the flights and certificates. None of the other items were available. Ultimately the experience has been spoilt by bad service. I can not recommend anybody purchase additional items from African skylines stick with the flight experience but don't hold your breath for the footage and photos.

Absolutely brilliant experience! Booking process was smooth and efficient. The introductory training hosted by Abdul made understanding how a plane works very simple! Smooth flight thereafter and the captain has immense patience! Whether you looking to tick something off your bucket list or start the journey of obtaining a pilot licence, this is the place to start!
It was a great experience to fly for the first time, just not through Africa Skyline. The instructor was over 2h late and don’t bother buying the extra’s they offer. You don’t get it anyway.
Been trying to follow up on extras paid for when doing the flight and get ignored , have yet to receive any refund or footage... they just do not care !
I did an Intro flight with African Skyline and I had the most amazing experience. As a cabin crew member with various airlines I am accustomed to high service and quality standards. The pilot Abdul Chavoos is highly skilled and friendly. The overall experience from making the booking, to the introduction to flying and the excellent food was awesome. I highly recommend African Skyline not only for individuals, but newly weds and corporate events. This is a once in a lifetime experience
