On my side, I would have given then a zero, I spent in total more than 60 minutes waiting for the call centre agent to attend to my call. I sent an email on 16 September 2022 only ti be responded to in November! They don't pic up their calls and never bother answering emails. I made a claim in September even today 05 November it is still not paid. I personally would not recommend Alex Forbes to my family or anyone I know. I experienced a poor service.
The building itself is spectacular inside and out! Upon arrival the staff at reception are friendly and make you feel welcomed. Seems like a great work environment.
Avoid at all cost. My father passed away in January of 2022 and we have been trying everything in our power to resolve his pension payout to my mother. Between Momentum Lendra Botha #worst client service ever and Alexander Forbes, worst place to keep your pension fund! Please avoid both of these companies if you want to have someone reliable and trust worthy to save for your retirement. Useless at working with money and useless at client service.
Resigned in July. It is now October and I am still waiting for my retirement/pension to pay out. Got some excuse that they moved the fund over to Alexander Forbeslike that us my issue. Struggle to get any information out of them and now the other day I get told I must follow up with Alexander Forbes who are literally impossible to get hold of so guess where my next review is going... FRUSTRATED! Can someone please tell me what the hell I need to do to get MY retirement funds paid out?! Or do I need to start getting lawyers/unions involved? Sick of this! I have emailed, phoned, contacted you on social media and now again I am having to sit here and type on yet another platform to try and get some sort of attention to this situation.
Do not give your money to these people, the service is APPALLING!!! When you have issues, you will have to email and call until the cows come home with no resolution. Do not use them, they don't care!
No one answers your calls which is so frustrating!!!! I have tried three different numbers in two days without success. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable !!!!!!
The hold time to get assistance is ridiculous. Best option is to walk into their offices for help.
