Amazing place to go to , either with a loved one or as a family. I love that the smoking section is not just limited to outdoors like most places, and there is a wall separating the indoor smoking area. The waiters are friendly, efficient and ensure that all your needs are met. I loved their food. Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly Parking: The parking space is not enough but the space by the road house makes up for that on a busy night

The 5 star rating is for the service by management. Mike is invested in the standards of this facility. We had an unbelievably horrendous experience on mothers day. He immediately got in touch with apologies. We repeated our lunch today and it was excellent service as per standard. The service is excellent. The beef trinchado pie was outstanding. It was a completely different experience to our mothers day encounter. Thank you to Mike and the chef as well as Jabu who on Sunday tried to mitigate the disaster happening in the kitchen. P.s Google did not allow me to keep my previous review about the experience on mothers day, be that as it may, Mike and team redeemed themselves. Overall an excellent food,vibe and service experience today.

Beautiful set up, perfect for couple date nights, girls and family outings. The food is do delicious and the portions are very generous. Beauty was such an amazing waitress who made sure we had an amazing night. Definitely going back

The food was terrible, very bland and not tasty. The drinks are expensive my gawd... I'm definitely not going to go back anytime soon. Kid-friendliness: There's a kiddies play area so that's good I guess.

I was always think and was the best place to have crumbed calamari... The best ...but what a dissapointed today ... I have oily crumbed calamari you could squeeze out the oil and crumbed all over the plate......we told the manager he apologized as i show him ....so he offer us coffee....will i go back yes that was my place for calamari......but no calamari anymore maybe for steak or diff meal... staff is always friendly....that is a plus .....

Lovely pub on the Jukskei river. Usually the food here is great. However my chicken was dry and the chips tasted stale. Excellent fire keeping us cosy.

Had a lovley dinner mid-week with the fireplace on. They had some great steaks and food was generally really good and varied! Desserts were standard. The atmosphere is okay and diverse.Food: 5/5

Definitely the best of the Barons we've been to over the years. Lovely central fireplace, big booth tables. Also has a kiddie area but that's outside in the front but does have tables next to it. Dress warm if you want to take the kids in the winter months. Kid-friendliness: Playground available

The atmosphere was great.Nice little play area for the kids. For starters we ordered snails, but they tasted a bit off then we Ordered a mushroom burger which was just ok, the bun was a bit dry and stale. The fries were very good though. Hubby ordered tomahawk steak which was a bit overcooked and not tender. Our waitress was great though! I forgot her name but overall an average experience.

The venue itself is great and the child minder was fantastic. She was able to remember all the children's names and looked out for each of them in the play area assuring their safety. They have multiple areas to choose from when it comes to your dining experience. Inside near the bar, the main inside area with the view of the river and the lower deck, the lower deck with a picturesque backdrop of the river and the outside upper area which is close to the play area to keep a close eye on your children. However I found the food average. Especially for the price. The waiting staff also forgot orders at our table or got orders wrong and in one case didn't take the order of a person in our party all together. I would return for the drinks and the venue but I might give the food a skip next time round.
