National Database For Nursing Studies
Allmed Training Academy owns a National Database for Prospective Nursing Candidates.
Nursing Colleges Access the National Database to recruit students for their nursing intakes at the college.
All the candidates on the National Database have been vetted.
The vetting process include:
• NQF Level 4 Academic Competency
Assessment with and Aptitude component
• Verification of the candidates Matric
Certificate with UMALUSI
• Ensuring that the candidate meets all the
requirements for the new nursing
qualifications
Candidates that does not meet the entry requirements have the option to enroll for the GED®.
The GED® test is accepted as an equivalent to a high school diploma by approximately 98% of colleges and universities in the U.S.
On successful completion of the GED® test, you will be issued a GED® High School Equivalency Credential issued by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education for Washington, DC in the USA.
The Higher Education Enrollment, a programme of Universities SA (formerly HESA), you can apply to study at a South African University with a GED® Credential and must be accompanied by a letter of admission from an appropriately accredited US university*. This will provide local recognition for your Credential.
Once we have received your unconditional letter of acceptance from the US University, Allmed Training Academy will apply for your certificate of foreign conditional exemption from Universities SA.
The subjects include:
• Reasoning through Language Art
• Mathematical Reasoning
• Social Studies
• Science
• Computer Literacy
Entrance Requirements:
You need to:
• Be a minimum of 16 years of age when
writing your exam
• Be in possession of a valid South African
Identity Document
• Have access to a computer or laptop with
sound
• Have internet access
After you have met all the criteria and/or passed the GED® test you will be added to the National Database for selection.
