Senior Physiotherapist, Ansi van der Walt MScPhysio, treats some of the country’s top equestrian, equine & canine athletes.
Ansi qualified as a physiotherapist (BPhys) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2001. For the next two years she worked in a practice specialising in the treatment of patients with back and neck pain, where therapeutic exercise was also a prominent part of treatment. During this period, she worked part time for an animal physiotherapy practice.
In 2004, Ansi started her own practice treating horses, domestic pets and horse riders. She now treats some of the country’s top equestrian, equine and canine athletes.
In 2007, Ansi obtained her MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, for her research into canine cruciate ligament injuries.
