Amalinda Nursery

Loved this nursery. It is divided into different sections and a pleasure to shop. Prices are really reasonable. Very nice Tea Garden. The little zoo for the children was a pleasant surprise.

Beautiful as always being surrounded by plants, affordable plants with wide variety, there is a little shop that's sells clothes and toys too and a lovely restaurant but the service at the restaurant is very slow but worth the wait, the food is awesome.

The nursery itself has a lovely selection. Very well priced and laid out. I feel that we should be able to pay for the zoo entry at the zoo entrance. Instead of going back to the front section. The animals are lovely and well cared for. But… the coffee shop… appalling service. I went to the counter to order coffee they don’t attend to you outside. Was told to browse the menu and they would come and take my order. Sat for about 20 minutes, no waitress. Decided to go inside again to order. 2 staff members having a conversation. Ignored me at the counter. Then one left and the other went into the kitchen. Waited a while longer. Then decided to leave. They obviously don’t need our business. There were only 2 tables occupied at the time. No one appeared to have any food. If there is a problem and you are unable to serve food, please communicate to your potential customers instead of wasting their time.

Very interesting lovely place. Variety of plants, very floral. The cafe is relaxed with a wonderful menu. Loving the chilled red mocktail as well as the breakfasts.

Best in the Eastern Cape? Ever so slightly run down but in the way most plant people will appreciate... These are people who grow their own plants and their shade houses are authentic growing spaces.

This is such a pleasant spot! The cafe is delicious. It's a nice spot for a coffee date and/or lunch. And the nursery is large with many plant options at a great price! Positives: great food and coffee. Beautiful greenhouse with a variety of plants. Negatives: the bathrooms could be nicer. Interesting: has a little petting zoo and a nice playground area for the kiddos.
