I am Amanda Lourens. Since 1989 I have worked as a hairdresser.
As a freelance stylist I worked on various pageants and shows including Miss World, Face of Africa and Fashion Week.
I have an extensive portfolio doing fashion and catalogue work for leading fashion houses and fashion magazines as well as working on advertising stills and commercials.
My portfolio includes work with numerous celebrities and supermodels both local and international.
I have gained recognition by winning hairdressing awards and I have held the title of Educational Director of Carlton Hair International.
I have written extensive hair articles for various magazines over the years and continue to do so.
Today, I have a regular clientèle to whom I attend at Giovanni Battista in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
