Make a turn at ARTISTRY JHB the most gorgeous new restaurant & event space in Sandton. Just a week old & already making such a statement. Food, drinks, lounge & even a theatre & co-working space! Congrats to J Something and team. The venue’s different spaces represent a journey of experiences & senses. They’ve already hosted some exciting events for brands. Arrived at artistry at 6pm on Saturday and was greeted by the most amazing view and sunset. Ordered a few cocktails with friends as we watched the sunset. We then ordered a few starters, the wings were definitely a hit!! With the tuna tartare coming in at a close second. I was a bit apprehensive about mains as everything looked really good but upon seeing the sexy chicken burger pass by our table I knew that I’d be eating that. Chicken was juicy and a packed with flavour, the chips are hand cut and made fresh which is my fave when I eat out. Definitely going back. Parking: Parking is limited so I recommend you take an Uber.
Recently checked out the restaurant Artistry & I must say that the restaurant has an amazing vibe, which is always a plus when you're trying to enjoy a day/night out. Additionally, the food is really great, which is obviously an important factor when it comes to a dining experience. Definitely more on the pricer end, however considering the location and the quality of the restaurant it is expected but that being said I didn't have to break the bank for a great meal. Another highlight of this restaurant is the incredibly friendly staff. Good service can really make or break a meal, and from my experience you'll be in good hands here. Our waitress Nomsa was an absolute delight, really took care of us, had patience for us when we took a bit of time to decide and the kitchen team and her were timely with our meals. A special shout out must go to the Maître d, she was so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. We were given a tour of the space which was amazing. We also were greeted and had great chats with J Something which was most certainly a highlight. Finally, the fact that the restaurant has multiple levels which includes a lounge area and a 100 seater theatre is really intriguing. It suggests that there's more to do than just eat, which could make for a really fun night out. Overall, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend checking out Artistry.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch with my friends at the resturant. We enjoyed the food. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.Food: 5/5
This place is fairly new and getting there is a bit tricky because you have to walk through a parking lot. However, it think they’ve built a wonderful space. The views from the restaurant are really good.but try to book outside. I think it is going to become a very busy place soon because the food is very good and the service was good too They have excellent Portuguese dishes peri peri chicken, and peri peri hamburgers but also more sophisticated tapas. Their Lamb hamburger was an amazing and delicious surprise. Drinks are not cheap but not overpriced. I went on a Saturday There was live jazz music that was not loud and really good.
I bought a ticket to the live show for R700. I was under the assumption that this would include the meal, live show and after party but to my surprise the meal did not include a beverage and we still had to pay a service fee This should have been stated on the ticket There was also poor communication with regards to starting time of the live show. The after party sucked. Above all else the food was delicious it was too good and the portions were just right but i did not enjoy the dessert.The atmosphere great. The live show was a 10/10. I still want to give their events a chance.
If you want a restaurant that has awesome staff, good food and alcohol, soothing music in the background and lots of laughs and social interactions- Artistry JHB is the place to go! It’s amazing. Love it!
What a vibe! Great food and service. Nozi is a wonderful host and so is the rest of the staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Looking forward to more afternoons and evenings here!
