Quiet and serene with Beautiful views. If you have kids between the ages of 3 and 10, this place is ideal with trampolines, pool, horse riding, feeding farm animals, etc. It is super safe and not too big, hence all of the staff know your kids and you by name. All staff from management to cleaning a super friendly and there To make your stay as pleasant as possible. It may have 3 stars according to ZA Tourism, but the service rivals many 5 star establishments. Your kids can enjoy a variety of activities in full view of you while you enjoy your favorite drink sitting on the deck. Fireplaces are fully stocked daily, main bedroom had a Jacuzzi which the ladies and the kids absolutely adored. It is also close to Adventure activities all across the mountain including ziplines, Birds of Prey sanctuary, Mountain hiking trails, et cetera. Dinner Bed & Breakfast can be arranged and the food is good. For a man with an appetite - the portions were more than enough.
The hotel staff and management are a fantastic lot of people. The ambience of the farm is amazing. My grandsons enjoyed themselves. It was home away from home. It's a real experience of my grandparents farm. Yes there were real fruit trees and sheep and goats. Thank you so much for your courtesy and kindness.Rooms: 5/5
I recently stayed at this guesthouse and was thoroughly impressed. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
A wonderful retreat in the berg and a real farm stay feel. The food is good and the hospitality top class. A special thanks to Danie for assisting us and taking special care to see that our dog got the best treatment during our stay.
My wife and I spent there 3 nights in December. The farm is lovely, with horses, goats and pigs, a real countryside feeling. Beautiful dining room area with an exit to a large garden and a pool. Hosts are very kind and attentive thank you, Ross!, food is good, with a nice selection to choose from. The chalet we've stayed in was very big, comfortable 2 floors, and has all the amenities needed. There are only 2 negative issues in our opinion: First, the chalets are very old so don't expect any modern place. The barn like smell is very noticeable. Second, there is no tarred access road, so take into consideration that you need to drive 4 km on gravel, which is not always in good condition. We've found it to be strenuous for our Toyota Corrolla. It took us 16 minutes to get to the farm on this road. Otherwise, we loved the place and had an enjoyable vacation.
A beautiful and stunning nature resort set in the mountains of Drakensburg. A short gravel road that's not bad to use with a normal car gets you to the most tranquil, relaxing and calm lodge. The rooms are equipped with inverters for the load shedding and the friendly staff and lovely animals including tobi the dog makes your stay just wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, the specific one we stayed in had a jacuzzi and a fireplace. The restaurant provided a lovely continental breakfast as well as dinner which catered for vegetarians and meat lovers. An absolute visit for a day or two won't do justice if you need to reconnect with nature and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Really nice if u want to break away from the buss. Doggy friendly & really equipped for your 4 legged kids. Will recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Excellent service from the time you arrive at reception you feel at home, love the ambiance. Room was perfect and the fire place was an excellent replacement for no TV. Service from the staff was excellent and very friendly. Food was perfect especially the crumpets for breakfast. The perfect place to relax your mind and get away from everything. Will definitely be back to relax and enjoy the perfect setting.

My kids aged 6 and 4 loved the farm experience - Herding sheep, riding horse, feeding goats. The room was dated, but comfortable. Breakfast and dinner offered a good variety. The museum and games room need attention. Overall, a lovely experience. Nearby activities: Drakensberg Chocolate Memories - Divine
