I love books and when it comes to university books this is where you will get your fix. They buy back used books too thereby reducing your study costs.

Absolute waste of time and money....  I've been purchasing books here for 4 years now, I was a frequent customer however I've been 3 times to try and get books priced that I've bought FROM YOUR STORE and was told that you don't want them?  I gave you the benefit of the doubt the third time and asked if I can purchase my final years books, to find out that a second hand book is more expensive than a new one from TAKEALOT?  REALLY REALLY DISAPPOINTED!  Please do your research in prices before heading here as they don't seem to be interested in used books in prime condition nor give you the best price which they say they provide!  NOT RECOMMENDED I'LL BE BUYING MY BOOKS ONLINE!  all these books were purchased from your store and are in mint condition, rather don't advertise second hand books!

Friendly, helpful and got all the text books I needed

Phoned in advance to check if they would purchase my old text books, gave them the titles, was confirmed that they are happy to buy. Arrived an hour later, it's quite a distance from home, only to be told that they could not buy any of my books as they were overstocked on all the titles. Don't understand why this could not have been explained telephonically by their staff to prevent frustration and a wasted trip

So excited to discover that the Unisa book shop in Linden, Armstrong books, is open until 4pm on Saturdays! This was so convenient! Friendly helpful service. If you phone in the week they will check whether the city branch has the school text books you are looking for and organise to deliver it to the Linden branch for you to pick up the following day.Very helpful.  Thank you guys!

Friendly staff and very helpful! I called in for a book I reserved but I was going to be late, the manager stayed behind 2 hours after closing time to hand me the book. Very caring!

A very efficient, on-the-ball store with most of the prescribed books on their fingertips. Prices compare favourably with other stores, which is why I use Armstrong's .. it always helps to save wherever you can.

Has alot of useful material for ppl studying through UNISA. Some books are quite expensive
