Artic is currently operating under the leadership of Rudolph and Johan, whilst the third generation is already being trained to take the lead in the future. Rudolph and Johan take great care to ensure that customers of the future would be just as content as our customers at present.

Artic was started in Welkom over 38 years ago by Dolf van den Berg and his wife Cilie. They started off small with little financial backing, a big dream and vision to succeed and complete trust in the Lord to provide in their needs. Dolf was a man of great technical expertise, hard working and strong willed, while his wife kept a tight reign on the finances. They were later joined by their two sons, Rudolph in 1974 and Johan in 1983. In 2009 they branched out opening Artic Digital at Preller Square, Bloemfontein, where they provide a specialised service in the audio and visual field.
Currently Artic provides an extensive selection of quality products in the audio-visual field, such as home theatre systems and accessories, televisions, video projectors and screens, DSTV decoders, public address systems and microphones, CCTV, digital cameras and accessories, multi media products including memory cards and flash drives etc. It also provides a wide variety of domestic appliances such as fridges, ovens, microwaves, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and other small electrical appliances. A wide range of quality air conditioners, weber braais with accessories and furniture, including office furniture are offered to customers.
In addition to supplying extensive range of well known trusted brand products, Artic also has specialised, well trained and experienced technical teams. They ensure that professional installations of the highest quality workmanship are available to customers.
