Fantastic food and even better service. First class seafood, fresh trout farmed 30 minutes away at the owners farm. Delicious tender pit cooked short ribs. The manageress made our wedding anniversary special. Highly recommend.
Was crazy busy, so we had to wait a while for food and drinks. Nevertheless our waiter, Dylan, as well as who I assumed was the manager came around to every table to make sure everyone was being helped given the circumstances. The place has a great vibe so you won't mind waiting a while if it's busy. Amazing food and cocktails as well.
Superb concept with flawless execution! A truly unique restaurant in the heart of PE's food district.
We truly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The owner knows how to create restaurants and menus, so kudos to him. Food is a bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth every penny. I like the fact that the main meals come without sides, and that you can order them separately. My only criticism is that on a cold night, it is colder inside the restaurant than outside. And I think that is something that needs to be addressed. We opted to sit outside instead, close to the gas heater. But other than that, I would highly recommend a visit to Asada!
Abseloutely magnificent! Had a spectacular meal and such friendly service. The atmosphere is very rustic chic and give a beautiful feel like you're in a whole other world. Definitely a place worth going to! In the photo: A delicious fresh tuna steak that was abseloutely devine, tender and cooked to perfection!
Nice place to hang out and have dinner. We had the catch of the day - it was good but not outstanding! I would say one of the nicest places on Stanley Street
Great food, friendly staff, nice setting
Asada is a real treat. Everyone's meal was delicious, even the kiddies option. Great value for such mouth watering food. Fantastic service makes it a well deserved 5 stars.
Absolute best Greek food in Port Elizabeth. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!!
For two people our meal came to R700. Food was ok, definitely not worth R700. No alcohol was consumed just two coldrinks and a water. Pricey for what was served. Everything is extra. No rice with the fish. It is just fish. No chips or veg with steak. It is just steak. Chimichiru sauce does not typically have chilies and we weren't warned it comes with chilies. We both ordered baby potatoes. I was not asked if I wanted butter or sour cream. We both got sour cream, which I don't eat. No offer was made to bring potatoes without dit cream. We asked for a thick cut of meat, medium rare, the cut was average bordering on the thin side for a steak. Waiters were not very attentive and service was slow. Three waiters looked out of table with empty plates, walked straight passed without clearing. Ours actually saw me putting my plate on the far side of the table. Walked outside, chatted to another waitress and we had to call him to clear the table and ask for the bill. You claim to have wheelchair accessible doorways. There is a ramp from the road onto a cobbled pavement. From pavement to restaurant there is a ramp. Yet from the doorway to the inside part of the restaurant is a big step..... With a potplant restricting access... Not wheelchair friendly.
